I ALMOST GOT MY SITUATION IN SERIOUS TROUBLE WITH THE ADMINISTRATOR BY SAYING TO HIM, """" THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT GET ANY BETTER UNTIL YOU GET THEM TO FACE THEIR DENIAL OF LIFE THAT"S HAPPENED TO THEM. THEY MUST BE FORCED TO **** REASON **** WITH THEIR REALITY OF DENIALS OR THEY WILL STAY INSIDE THEMSELVES FOR DECADES !!!!! THIS IS TO BE DONE IN ALL THERAPY GROUPS AND ONE ON ONES.!!!!!!!!! AND I CALLED THEM COCK SUCKERS AND THIS IS THE MILITARY. THAT"S WHAT ALMOST GOT ME KICKED OUT. BUT, THE TRUTH HAS BEEN REVEALED FOR THEIR OWN GOOD!!!!!!!!
Here in the shadow of the Capitol records building we've long suspected this band of being communist subversives. Advocating freedom and human rights and talking about photons. Invisible airwaves travel with light. The urban canyons echo with the sounds of salesmen. Wilshire boulevard's been that way for as long as I can remember. Let's sing that song that's so elusive. Invisible airwaves crackle with light. Tatter the illusion of integrity. All this machinery making modern music sometimes gets out of control. Words of the prophets are written on the sidewalks all over LA and not a lot of peace around here even yet. It all comes to the question of your honesty.
Great performance as ever, NEC Birmingham UK - as usual total sell out.... still improving a decade on, with Clockwork Angels ... 3 of the best musician in one awesome group for over 40 years, we are fortunate to have been around to see it all.. THANK YOU RUSH... LLP,
everyone says neil is such a great drummer. The man's emphatically not a fucking drummer. I'm a drummer. He's a percussionist. Drums don't get down on xylophones and the bells
it sounds good on their 80s albums. on old rush songs it lacks the balls needed for those songs. wal basses are notorious for lacking bottom end. when he switched to the fender after this they got the balls back they needed. cant get bottom end crunch out of a wall without a stupid amount of effects like tool or chili peppers
Brilliant. Exit Stage Left fantastic. 1812, better! Best Drum Kit i've saw, and saw a good few. Stuart Coplands comes close. Anyway i've heard this song a million times. Catch yea later...Paul.
No doubt the greatest live band I've seen in all my years c1972 - now and I've seen lots of bands! Birmingham odeon then Stafford Bingley Hall... Went loads of times with friends and not still brilliant... If I say Alex Lifeson is the "weak link" it just says how Ferkin brilliant they were/are!!
No bullshit, I have listened to live versions of Rush songs and truly asked myself "is this studio or live?!" The crowd noises usually give it away, but on some of their live albums the crowd is quiet as hell. Greatest band of all time
Alex, I have to back you on this one. Rush is one of the few bands in the world that studio work can't touch their sound on a stage. They are a phenom non-compare!
hamstersniffer Truly, just if I was alive during this time to enjoy them in their prime. But I have seen them 3 times (S & A, Time Machine, and CA) and it was incredible so I am very thankful they are still together for my young self to see them!
If you were to listen to a grade A bootleg of lets say the hemispheres tour, you can look up "Storm over Tucson", Its a great one) anyways it runs right through the mics instead of other audio sources and it sounds so clear and perfect!
There's no, comparison. Led Zeppelin had 7 albums, Rush - at least 24 studio and live albums. Had JB not passed away, maybe Zeppelin could be included at the end of a paragraph that mentions Rush. But that is not practical. Rush's lyrical content alone leaves Zeppelin "stranded at the riverside." And musically, Rush is far superior at each position, let alone Rush's catalog is way to strong to be compared to against any other musical entity. Of course this is just one Rush fans opinion, and I could be wrong.
Happy Birthday, Neil Peart! This video, four years ago, and this song changed my life, for the better! I'm 20.. I saw your concert, last year. :) Thank you, Professor!
What the hell dude? I said nothing out of the ordinary. I don't care how long you've been playing guitar or bass. A lot of people play fender anything. Joe Walsh, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Misener, ect. I think your not a true music fan.
Geddy's vocals have gone to dogshit over the decades, but he can do no wrong on the bass. It's a shame he switched to the fender jazzman, when this peculiar brand bass is the best sounding he has ever used, due to it's ability to handle his fingers so powerful they could pry open a tunacan. The fender gives off too much twang.
Best version ever.
see younsoon professor
Still rocks after decades!

I was there :)
One likes to believe in the freedom of music

the guitarist looks like donald trump
I think Donald trump ( without capital letters ) would pay million dollars in order to aproach to ALEX LIFESON ( with capital lletters ) .
Oh Yeah!!
When did my grandma form a band with Tom Hanks and Donald Trump?
Which delusional 53 people gave thumbs down on this? Rush awesome 40 years ago, and even more awesome in 2016. THANK YOU RUSH

Now thats the spirit ... of radio ... thanks for taking me back to the past...

+PApa TK How's your drumming career going?
You could throw in some bells and a xylophone and you still wouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Neil
Lee is playing a Wall bass. The sound is amazing!!

What year was this?
Rush is amazing, but Geddy Lee is NOT the best bassist of all time.
But he is at his time.

Exit stage left sounds almost identical to studio, I actually prefer the live version of Passage to Bangkok on that album to the studio version.
If you were to listen to a grade A bootleg of lets say the hemispheres tour, you can look up "Storm over Tucson", Its a great one) anyways it runs right through the mics instead of other audio sources and it sounds so clear and perfect!
To me the best band out there, maybe for except Led Zep...HAAHAHAA.. LOL
There's no, comparison. Led Zeppelin had 7 albums, Rush - at least 24 studio and live albums. Had JB not passed away, maybe Zeppelin could be included at the end of a paragraph that mentions Rush. They sound like led zeppelin/pink floyd/the cure rolled into one, amazing.
enjoy
How dare you scroll down while Rush is playing!
oops...sorry!
I still think Hold Your Fire-era Geddy looks like a woman with a mid-level management position and a banking firm.
does not matter what he looked like, still one of the most proficient rock musicians of all time, BASS, VOCALS, KEYBOARD etc all at once.... awesome.
woooooww
so goood
Forty one people are divs. Def info.
So much sound from three guys awesome
Happy Birthday, Neil Peart! This video, four years ago, and this song changed my life, for the better! I'm 20.. I saw your concert, last year. :) Thank you, Professor!
RUSH = how 3 people on stage can electrify and energise a whole stadium
What the hell dude? I said nothing out of the ordinary. I don't care how long you've been playing guitar or bass. A lot of people play fender anything. Joe Walsh, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Misener, ect. I think your not a true music fan.
I'm mostly a drummer, but I play guitar and bass. The fender jazz is one of the best basses money can buy. So, I would try again.
This odd brand bass geddy is using in this is the best sounding he has ever played Dunno why he started playing that fender jazzman piece o' shit.
I wondered what that nod between Neil and Alex was, thought it was just like 'we've nailed this one', but yeah Geddy's vocals are awesome on this one.
Hell yeah!!! They earned it!
The bass riff at 3:07 was not in the album version, and yet Rush made it work! One of the greatest bands in history!!
Happy Birthday Geddy!
