We did elephant safari at Western Range. The price for elephant safari was Rs 1000 per person and 4 people can ride in one elephant. As for the jeep safari, it costs around Rs 3200 per jeep. 5 people are allowed on each jeep. The timings are as follows: Elephant safari (Morning Only) 5:00am to 6:00am 6:00am to 7:00am For elephant and jeep safari, one must book it at least one week in advance. Lubrang village of Arunachal pradesh is at the height of 9500 ft. Lubrang is a yak pastoral settlement, and is home to the Brokpas, the nomadic herders who are part of the larger Monpa tribe. During Summer they go to Mago and Luguthang in Tawang district to herd the yaks in the high mountains. It takes 15 days to get there. They stay there for four months, and in the last week of October, when heavy snowfall starts, they come back to Lubrang. But in recent times, the life of Brokpa and Yaks are threatened due to global warming, climate change and the younger generation who prefer different lifestyles.

Hi you have mentioned about Sangti Valley and Sangti Gaon. We are planning to stay in Lanjom Homestay and I tink its in Sangti Gaon. How to visit Sangti Valley from there?
You can drive for about 15 minutes further, and you'll be there. On the way you'll find sheep farm and can explore upto Bishum-Phudung (30 minutes from lanjom).
