Hello. How much coffee do you put your basket ? I have the 18g basket but when I fill it with 18g of grind it barely fill about 60% of the basket. But I see videos where the grinds pretty much fills the whole basket. Not sure if my scale is incorrect.
I use 18g coffee in 20g VST basket or the 18g Lelit stock basket or IMS 18g basket. Weighing the coffee grind and the espresso helps with consistency of the brew.

Waalaikumsalam. Boleh cuba grind one click lebih halus atau tambah 1 gram serbuk kopi dalam filter. Guna dawai untuk leraikan clumping serbuk kopi dan guna distributor sebelum tamping. Insyaallah ok.

@Chris_Nias Different beans have different grind size for best extraction. You may need to have a beans diary and best grind setting for each one.

Do you recommend buying a treadmill? What defects did you encounter?
I have this grinder as a secondary grinder for all other method of preparing coffee not exclusive to espresso. It is non step, minimal retention and quite large flat burrs. Not too expensive either. Works for my needs.
