Tanking for a draft pick isn't what is best for the organization. That is a loser team mindset who thinks that having higher position is going to fix anything. If we get our house in order with the right GM and right coach, we will get great production out of our picks regardless of position. That magic #1 overall pick has dramatically changed the trajectory of an organization a few times with hit QBs in 20 years (Luck, Newton, Burrow), but we aren't in the QB market. Look at who is always picking #1 or close the last 20 years, it changes nothing. Jags, Texans, Browns, Panthers, Cardinals, Raiders, Jets, Commanders, Old Lions, Old Rams crappy year after crappy year, burning through top picks, unless they eventually fixed their organization. Tanking solves nothing.

Google "Todd Bertuzzi/Steve Moore" to see how a similar situation was handled in hockey with vigilante justice enacted by the players when they felt the officials did nothing..
