Just for fun to maybe help some people out
2020 Jeep Gladiator 3.5 inch Skyjacker lift kit install
Installation of SkyJacker 3.50-Inch Dual Rate Long Travel Suspension Lift Kit with 2-Inch Rear Coil Springs and Black MAX Shocks (20-22 Jeep Gladiator JT, Excluding Launch Edition, Mojave & Rubicon)
Item #: JG1023 from @extremeterrain @SkyjackerSuspensions
Done at home in a driveway by a semi-skilled mechanic.
Install went pretty well, parts fit great except one bushing. 4.8 stars. Would have gotten a 5 if not for the one bushing. Real nice heavy duty well made parts.
It rides really good also

I would like to have dimensions of the drawer as well. Great video. I am a 2 on the carpenter scale as well. Like to know drawer wall and bottom thickness. Also height of drawer back and front plate. Thanks in advance.
hi all of plywood was 1/2 inch thick. We traded that camper in this year and i dont remember the height if the drawer, but it was about 1 inch shorter than the opening
@@kdingah3117 Thank you for the quick response. I will be working on doing that upgrade this summer.
You posted the before measurements but not the after measurements. Just curious how much lift you actually got once it was back on he ground.
It was exactly 3-1/2 inches higher as advertised .
Can you sketch up a drawing with dimensions? Ie shopping supplies?
Sure I can do that. I will try to get to it over the weekend. Thanks for watching.
Hey does your rear shocks have a straight threaded bolt on top ?
Do u have pictures or vidos with the 37s
Did you regear it so you don’t chew up your drivetrain
Nope, no need to, it is a sport S model with the heavy tow package with 4:10 gears no driveway issues
@@kdingah3117 minimum for 37s I would think you would need 488s or 513s, ball joints , tie rod , no issues?
No issues at all. Kit has a new drag link. Jeep did a great job designing these with the expectation they will be modified. There are no power or shifting issues. I bought a speedometer adjusting tool that fixes the speedo so the shift points are all adjusted for tire size.
@@kdingah3117 cool
Nice work! Did you ever figure out why the traction control light came on? It happened to me also
If I remember right I don’t think I reconnected the plug on the differential that had to be taken off.
It rides great with the 37s my ch better than the stock ride
But how'd it look with the 37s
Thank you! Exactly what I needed.
Simple and elegant,
What a GREAT idea!!!
Add a strip of Strenco 1 inch Self Adhesive and Loop Strips-5 yards to base below the drawers. The drawers will slide considerably smooths. I just did it to a new end table I bought back in May. Works great as drawers are sliding on felt.
Any Amazon link?
@@wendywei6557 I don't see the Strenco brand on Amazon but probably any heavy duty product would work.
Hi Mitch, can you explain this a little more? Do you just put both pieces on the bottom of the drawer and did you glue or staple yours on? I find that if the drawer is used often, the strips start to wear down quickly.
Good idea yeah I’m a 2 on wood skills lol
Thanks for sharing. Simple and elegant. Great!
Great job Keith!
Exactly what i was looking for, thank you. I just need to also install the door.
Looks great! Thanks for the idea and great approach!
