How To Make Milk Tea With Pearls
Life without bubble tea is like life without happiness.
Ingredients:(amount of tapioca is for multiple servings) If you want to make a different amount of tapioca use a [1:6.66 ratio] tapioca to water.(6.66x as much water as there is tapioca) The ratio for the sugar syrup is [2:1] two parts[ combination of brown and white sugar] to one part water.
For tapioca pearls and sugar syrup:
300g black tapioca pearls
2L(2000ml) water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
For: Milk tea[I didn't specify an amount in the video, but the milk tea should be one part very dark black tea[sweetened] and one part milk.
1/2[ total milk tea amount]: Dark sweet black tea
1/2[ total milk tea amount]: Milk
Sweetener[I used the sugar syrup]
Instructions:
1.Boil water
2.Boil tapioca pearls on medium for 25 minutes
3.Turn off heat, cover pot and soak tapioca pearls for 20 minutes
4.Strain and rinse tapioca with water
Sugar syrup:
1. Combine two parts brown sugar and white sugar with one part water
2.Boil
3.Keep tapioca in sugar syrup
Milk tea:
1.Boil water
2.Steep tea until it's dark
3.Add sweetener until it's sweet[I used sugar syrup]
4.Combine one part black tea with one part milk

is there a way to make the tapioca pearls mango flavored? i bought tapioca pearls hoping i can make them mango flavored but i just realized in order to do that you need the starch but i don’t have that :/

Where do you get your ingredients from?
you can get them at asian grocery store but they are also easily available on amazon
2020? You might find me weird but instead of putting regular water in the drink I made myself green tea and added that as “water”...it gives it more flavour it’s really good (I wanted a green tea drink so that’s why lol 😂)

for every 1 cup of tapioca pearls, you need 7 cups of water to boil!

no. This is a slushy. To make the tea you need to boil tea and add condensed milk

Would this work if I ordered the mango flavored boba that is filled with a juice or syrup?
The boba that are filled with juice don't need to be cooked but the mango flavoured tapioca may cook differently. It should give you instructions on the package.
