Wow, that match just exposed how much trouble we are in. The right is dead right now without Odegaard. It also exposed how much we need a replacement for the CDM , Partey and Jorginho are not good enough, especially Partey. We are going to be in trouble against City. I said at the end of last season that Partey looked done at this level, and tonight was just another example. For me it was more important to replace the CDM than a forward. When I saw the picture last week of Odegaard's foot turned 180 degrees from the rest of his leg I knew he was done for 2 months minimum. His position was another of the 3 that needed a propper back up. The lack of replacements for Partey and Odegaard just makes our summer window look even worse with time. Stirling was a panic buy, and he looks out of place right now, playing on the right. I said right after Odegaard went down that we need to adjust our goals for the season. Top of the list is secure 4th in the EPL, There is no guarantee that we are . For me, the CL is not what we should be going after now, We should go after one of the 2 domestic cups. As for Arteta, he needs to rethink how we play, we don't have the players to play like we did last summer. Our press is a shadow of what it was without Odegaard, and we don't have the CDM to hold the line in front of our back line. Even if Odegaard had not been injured we would still be in trouble because of the CDM position.

Great show Ray a little bit of negativity from Lawrence is becoming a little bit boring sure we all want Arsenal to win but every team goes through injury and suspension it happens in Football unfortunately let's get back some positivity and support Arsenal, each week is negative about our team just saying Ray 😮😊

Happy St. T DAY The game went the way I thought it would. With them coming off a 15-day break, I expected them to come after us and beat us in most 50 50s. The tilt map was heavily in their favour. The 3 nil lead we had at the end of the 1st half was a bit of a surprise.We had some good spells in the second half, but we couldn't get the 4th goal. The physical condition of the 2 clubs dictated what was happening, and we were on the losing end of that. Despite our physical condition, we were doing well containing them in our end until Raya did the unthinkable again. That 2 huge mistakes in 4 games by him, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. This goal let them and the crowd back in the game just like the first game, fortunately we held on this time. As for the no called Pens I expect nothing else from this group of incompetent corupt officials. Oliver, like Tierney Taylor and many others, are a disgrace to the game and do not deserve to be on the pitch. The physical assualt by Richardson on Gabriel was a straight red any where anytime except when it comes to Arsenal. He ran straight at Gabreil and delivered a head but in the process. Then the coward has the Gaul to go down like Gabriel did something.. As for Areta, it was another game of mismanagement with players on their last legs. How the hell Jesus was not on for Saka who was being carried by the team was criminal. Arteta gets another 1 out of ten. He would have had the energy to fire up our press, which was pretty quiet today. The main thing is we got the win dispite our recurring problems so it's on to the Bournemoth game. Edite, by the way, if we don't win the title, we didn't lose it p,saying Villa, Fulham and Westham. We were never in those games. The title will have been lost in the list legs against Chelsea and Tottnumb, where Raya cost us the 4 points we needed. We were in the lead and Raya again let Tottnumb back into it and he gave the Chelsea game being caught way out of position.😢

I said at the begin of the season I wasn't expecting much this season in CL due to our inexperience. We have already outperformed my expectations, so I'm happy. Having said that, this match left a sour taste in my mouth. It wasn't our performance or theirs,it was the offical and when he blew the full time whistle 30 seconds early and then sprinted down the tunnel being the quickest off the pitch it was so odvious that his performance was awful. It was not a performance that matched the level of the occasion or the match.

Well, another good win against a tough, well drilled opponent . It was a total team effort that had the whole club having to be at its best. First, Ben White, he has finally gotten back into his previous form with 2 assists in this one. He has had an up and down season so far due to his hip problem and Arteta's slow build-up up style that kept him much deeper than last season. In the last 8 ga, though, since Arteta took the handcuffs off the offence and let the players be much more direct he has been able to sortie much further forward to support the attack with his passing abilities. This has freed up both Saka and Odegaard as now the defenders have to deal with White as well. The title of this show should actually be Kai and Rice fuel by White. I think we missed Martinelli's pace in this one. His shear pace strikes fear and pushes the defenders back Trossard played well but it just wasn5his day. Kai continues to improve and looks so much better where he is playing now. Instead of L8 and Rice looks good at L8. For me this is our preferred set up , I don't watch to see Kai at L8 anymore, it doesn't work. Now for the man of the match and devicive player Ramsdale. Yes he made a mistakecbut we do not get the 3 points without those 2 game saving saves in the second half. I felt sorry for him because Arteta made sure that he was always going to make a mistake in this game because of a lack of game time. Ramsdale should have played the second half against Sheffield to get some game time. Just another example of Arteta's poor game management skills. As for the comments made buy Lawrence about our fan base on Ramsdale at the beginning of the show I totally agree. A good portion of the fan base have a very distorted view of the 2 goal keepers. In there eyes Ramsdale is full of mistakes and Raya is perfect. It's totally wrong, yes Ramsdale makes mistakes every now and the bit Raya has had his fair share to this season. In the City match Raya nearly made the same mistake twice and gave the ball away acouple of times in dangerous positions with his bad passes. We could easily be down 2 or 3 nil 3o seconds into the 2nd half. In CL he cost use 2 loses against Lens and Porto . He also cost us 2 win against Tottnumb and Chelsea with the loss of 4 valuable points. We should have won both of those matches. Ramsdale hasn't cost us anything this seadon but he has won us 2 matches with his saves, our last game with the 2 great saves and the community shield where hecmade 3 huge saves to keep us in the match until we could tie the game up and go to a shot out in which Ramsdale made another big save. He won us 3 games we had no bussiness wining in his first season and won us a couple last season early in the season. Raya has not won us any games when we are struggling. I too was woundering what Frank and Ramsdale were talking about after the match. Is Ramsdale headed for Brentford? When we learned of the Raya deal I found myself asking why in the space of less than 12 months has Brentford changed there entire keeper staff inclueding the coach who came to Arsenal at the beginning of last season. They odviously were not happy with what they had and for me they were far to happy to let Raya go so easily to Arsenal. I have never seen a club do that when they are so high up in the standings, I see a club doing that after religation but I've had this nasty feeling that Frank and company have taken Arteta and Edu for a ride and we are getting the short end of the stck. Like Isaid it was a good win by the team against a tough opponent.

Sorry I missed the show but just added a like. Its was a good win that we desperately needed. We just about held them to absolutely nothing in the first half until the Saliba Raya cock up. I mainly blame Saliba but I'm woundering what the communication was like from Raya. Saliba played it like he was expecting Raya to come out and scoop it up but he never Really tried. When I played keeper in hockey my defense never had any question as what my intentions were I was that load . I think Ramsdale has better communication skills than Raya. I'm not real worried about Saliba I think he just needs to get back to basics in that type of situation and just kick it out. He's one of the best in the world and he will work things out. I was much happier with this performance as we moved the ball forward quickly alot more from the back and once again all our goals were from quick open play that our forwards took advantage of. Our last 8 goals have all been scored from Quick play forward not Arteta's slow build up play and from his gteat celibrations today maybe he has finally realised he was wrong with that style. In the last 3 games Martinelli has scored 3 and both Saka and Trossard have 2 with Jesus netting 1. It would seem that there was nothing wrong with our scoring abilities it was all down to our style of play. As for Arteta and his celebrations thats how he should be responding to every goal we score not what he was doing which was cheering heavily for goals scored with his slow build up and set piece play while being very muted when we catch them on the fast break to score. For me my man of the match was Martinelli who never stopped running, but I also credit Jorginho, and rice for thier rolls in the midfield. I would give every player a score of 7 or more today, it was just a good all around team performance that could jyst as easily got us a 3 nil win instead.

I agree 100% Arteta feels over the course of the season Raya can be better then we have go with it. Ramsdale needs to work harder than ever now. Character check incoming. His Dad has opinions which in hindsight he may look back on comments which in themselves were not very controversial but also not very helpful in the public domain
