Fantastic review & video 👍
thank you for your comment and i am pleased that you enjoyed the video
Nice one Stef.
was a really good time to be honest , and thanks for the comment , gladly recieved
Great night Stef
yes it was mate and good to have a catch up , looking forward to the next one
You're a great fella Stef, and you are very bold to be out camping so early in April - even if it is on the South Coast, so you are very nearly in France haha.
always helps to have the correct gear for the colder weather
Nice one Sir, hopefully we'll see your bivvy set-up in another video. Maybe next spring now. Kind regards.
more bivvy camping and set up will soon follow
@@SunriseToSunsetwithStefDawson Splendid.
Alcohol abuse in public ????? 😂😂😂😂 enjoy
not abuse because it was allowed and at a beer festival throughout the town
I used to visit the Country Park and Fairlight beach during the 90's as a young man exploring the coast line, the beach was beautiful mostly clear of rocks and boulders especially the main parts of the beach, The Council at the time had built wooden steps to walk down and was officially classed as a clothing optional beach, with on a good day 300 -400 people would flock there with adequate parking at the farm house and cafeteria. Sad to see that nature has reclaimed the beach with most of the Country park looking overgrown and un kept, i no longer see the Park Wardens who used to work across the Park, i suppose that is due to cut backs. Been some years since i last went beyond the reach safety wise, a huge loss to Sussex and Kent. Thank you for posting brings back some happy memories.
i wish that i had visited the beach when it was managed by the local council, but as you said its cut backs finantually and they dont earn money from the naturists that visit there, i will continue to use the beach for as long as life allows and continue to observe the reclamation of mother nature and always enjoy every single visit , glad that you enjoyed my video btw
When can we see you naked camping again?
that is only available on my twitter account and not on youtube
Enjoy your weekend mate
yes mate it was a good weekend
Hi, whats the situation like now at Fairlight cove? I hope to get down there mid. sept for a weekend, if it's not wet that is.
i dont know to be honest , i havent been there since may bank holiday
@@SunriseToSunsetwithStefDawson ok, thanks. I'll update you what it's like when i go. I'm sure one of the regulars there will have made some improvements to the access.
have an amazing time mate
Defiantly will
Have a great time mate
Cheers mate will do
Living the dream mate 😁
no more beach camping
there will be some beach camping again soon
After camping in the new bivvy how do you compare it to the Dutch army bivvy? Nice video by the way 👍
quite thin compared to the dutch army bivvy so it actually felt less claustrophobic and more room , not tried it in rain yet so cant comment about the waterproofness, but definatly good value for money so far
@@SunriseToSunsetwithStefDawson thanks for the info, it’s the rain bit that intrigues me.
Nice one mate I used to live in Hastings looks a great spot by the beach are you happy to share the spot ? Atb Graham
it is a beautiful spot and i am allways happy to share
Good watch thanks. Where did you get the flame retardant material? Also what Camera do you use? Happy camping!
@@kitsilanomusician2669 I use a brazing plumbing mat available from amazon, and film using a gopro
@@SunriseToSunsetwithStefDawson Thanks
After watching this I brought a 2nd hand one on eBay for £60 which is a slightly older model but seems exactly the same, apart from the colour. I like the simplicity of the set up and it’s easy to lug around on my bike packing adventures. Great review! I look forward to using it soon
pleased that my video helped you and i still use the one man and the two man versions , never let me down yet , fantastiv tent , hope that you enjoy and please keep me updated , happy camping
I'm saving up for one 😊
good lightweight and fairly spacious
Hi Stef, great video looks like you had a good time. See you soon mate
yes nate , catch up again soon , still got my bad chest infection
It looked like that extra day was good. Great video mate. Great catching up again.
Yes it was mate and glad we met up again , looking forward to the next gathering whenever it happens
Naked video

Yay you kept my bit in 😂😂 im the redhead at 20:12 😂 great video and hope you enjoyed your solstice ❤
ah yes i do remember you and also from the past , was a great solstice and nice to meet up with friends old and new,
Alright mate. I see you at Avebury this Year. Just on my way.
I will arrive at Avebury about 1.30
@@SunriseToSunsetwithStefDawson I be there just before you and Sean. Unless my bus is delayed. I see you at bus stop by red lion mate
Good presentation of the event,,,captured the spirit well...thanks
it was a fantastic day i must admit
Omg that’s looks fun ❤ awesome music
wonderful festival and magicle place to visit

i dont do naked on youtube only available on my twitter
Blimey i went there for the day 2 years ago and i can see a big difference..probably go again soon or sandwich bay beach, as i got bitten big time by mozzys at fairlight ..great content always have a look see where your exploring 🤠
thank you and glad that you can see the big changes
its still working your thermarest?
i am afraid that my thermarest got punctured and i no longer use it , i now use exped mattress
I tried to do a camp in battle that Monday but was cancelled due to the weather.
ah yes because of the bad weather i returned home ear;ier than planned too
Its a xheaper version of the gossamer 1 really which as you wrll know is an awesome bivvy tent
looking forward to trying this one out, much ;ighter than my dutch army hooped bivvy, and more spacious than my snugpak
I bought a British army bivvy recently and absolutely love it Stef. I'll be going down to Leysdown with it at some point in the next couple of months. Can you recommend a decent place to pitch as I know where you are but haven't been that far up
Also are there parking spaces up that end? Cheers mate
there is normally parking spaced at the end if you arrive early enough, or park in the layby before the unmade road, thats only what i have heard though as i travel by bike
there is a lot of flat ground for a small tent or bivvy , lots os spaces normally , especially if you arrive in the morning
👍
thanks for the like
1 kg = 2.2 lbs charlie
that is just a estimate from there website , as the video says the weight can be reduced by only using 5 pegs and without the stuffsack lol , but thanks for the update
i will actually weight when i use and review the bivvy tent and give a more acurate details
Is it warm sunny day?
yes it was extremely hot and a warm breeze
Hi there watched videos for wild camp at fairlight glen could you tell me an easy route to get there om 72 tried the walk past dripping well and too much for me, I'm now living in lydd having moved from London, if it's easier to go from the Hastings side please let me know keep it up with your videos they are great ,Richard.
hi there as far as a easy route goes , i tend to walk abover the dripping well ans its a slightly longer route but does have a fairly deep desend towards the end down some steps, beautiful walk though through the trees, just before the dripping well take the left hand path, goes slightly uphill before downwards, you can also walk along the beach at low tide but still have to clamber over some rocks in places , i am not a fan over walking on the beach but thats just my experience
Thanks for replying
I remember you said it ripped easily mate
yes mate it did rip quite easily but it cost too much money not to keep using it , ideal lightweight tent for the beach
Great video Stef. Hope you enjoyed your birthday break. See you soon Mike
it was some great time away , sadly didnt win the lottery so back home and back at work
Jack In The Green 2023 HastingsParade Sunrise To Sunset love louis shirley
Feeling homesick 😢. Can't wait to visit for the Pirate weekend and I went down in January
hastings is a wonderful place to visit, always something happening there
Great video, really enjoyed it. Only one thing that I couldn't understand was that how can you have a smile on your face after paying £4.40 a pint, no matter how good it was,I'd be crying my eyes out!😅
ah yes mate but when outdoors there is no price on happiness, and the 2nd pint was a pound more expencive , glad you enjoyed the video too
cheaper than a MC Donalds and a lot more satisfying
Looks fun, a bit taking a puppy out on a walk for the first time. Needs training , can it catch sticks yet?
still learning mate
Great video mate 👍
Thanks 👍
Getting to the right time of year for it!
oh yes most definatly and loads more to come soon
That stove you used do you remember the price mate 👍
it is called a fire maple with a steamer attatchment and i bought from amazon , and the stove itself is a spider type od stove,
Thanks buddy nice one 👍
@@loremice6809 you are welcome
Some nice tunes as well mate 👍

Thanks, will do, plenty nore to come
Great video mate
cheers mate and pleased that you enjoyed
hey Stef, it was great to meet you - catch you over May weekend. Steph
It was great meeting you too and looking forward to catching up with you again soon, glad that you are enjoying your experience with wildcamping and nature
Kingswood is a nice wood for a wild camp. Plenty of hidey holes.
yes most definatly , might have to do one there this year
@@SunriseToSunsetwithStefDawson next time I'm able to I'll either be going there or down to breed high woods. Another lovely wood. First time I did Kingswood I inadvertently ake a toss a bunch of doggers lol
used to be a well known gay cruising spot
i dont know about that but i have never had any problems there
@@paganjon6529 didnt know that , especially now as there is so little access after the steps have gone and only a rope down to the beach remains
