I am having the same problem on my TUF A17 (FA706IHRB-HX041W), i checked the ram and battery but it still didn't turn on! I visit the service center (They will call me), till then i am waiting! Is there anyone who replaced or repaired the motherboard on service center? If yes can you tell me the price approx? Since it's out of warranty. Edit: I just found the fix, It's ram just change the ram!

Hello, I have an Asus Rog gl 530vd laptop, the screen is black, but the laptop works on an external screen. I replaced the screen cable with a new one, but the screen is still black. Today I tried the laptop screen on another laptop and it worked. Therefore, the fault is not from the screen or the screen cable. What do you think is the solution

So Ill share my experience....Same problem so i turned my laptop off and I was seaching YT for a solution then found this video and WAS going to implement it BUT as I turned on my laptop back it somehow worked like nothing happend. Note : I did not use any method in this Video as stated above my display came back normal. Though the first method looks optimal rather than the second method.

had the same thing, i removed the battery and clean the ventilation spinning things so it had time to completley drain power, then installed the battery that did it for me, works fine now. i think that if you leave it in sleep for to long it cant get itself out of sleep so now i always turn the laptop off

Had a similar issue, was updating my drivers on Adrenaline and my AC battery disconnected. Screen turned black. Everyone I restart it I only see logo then it turns to black screen when windows should pop up with sound. I only see Bios and Logo windows is not visible. If Anyone has had a similar issue please let me know of any fixes.

For anyone else who have tried everything the comment section said try this… Take the bottom cover off… Take both ram sticks (if applicable) Get an old tooth brush Put a little drop alcohol on said tooth brush and scrub the contacts on the ram sticks on both sides, dry it and put it in again… This fixed my system.

If you using dual channel (2 ram stick) or 1 stick ram just swap in between the two slot it should fix it

Something similar like this has happened to me, Except the fans don’t fluctuate on/off Here’s what’s happening to mine: *Power on > Keyboard lights up, fans turn on, then 3 seconds later, fan turns off, keyboard still lit up, stuck on black screen.* If there’s a fix on this, Please tell me and I will try that method. Edit: The problem got fixed, Turns out it was the motherboard that died, So if anyone was thinking of any suggestions on how to fix it, *you're too late now.*

Happened to me after i had put my asus tuf a15 to sleep mode, keyboard lightning was on but screen was black, I just pressed the power button for 10s and successfully turned off, then it turned on normally👍

Yeah same issues but for me, i just have to cleaning the ram with Eraser and that just fix the problem

maybe its too late to comment. hey its true: it can be solved by press hold power button to turn off. after turned off, just need to unplug battery cord from socket. note: before you connect your battery again, need to make sure all of peripherals socket connected first.. properly. then plug in the battery cord again. i have same problem before, thank god it back to normal again.

Dont ever buy an asus tuf gaming laptop again. Mine broke 3 months ago and I needed to pay 250$ to repair it. Yesterday it broke again it's constantly turning off and on, the screen is not working and the fan is making a werid and hella loud noise.
