since you've finished the game by now i dont know how much this will help, but just to explain for anyone confused, the "he's your half brother" line came from your cop sense, since he's also a cop but he's from another station! this line confuses a lot of people since at that point most aren't used to how the different stats talk to you, but yeah heres what the lines supposed to mean :]

I know this play through is several months old but did you ask Joyce about the "Pale"? It's probably the most intresting conversation you could have with her in the game.

wow, I just finished the main line of this game yesterday😂Exploring for the rest of the collections and puzzles now.

Nice to see you finish it up. I was glad to see you didn't get unlucky after how hard of a time you had earlier, I was almost expecting the game to screw you and accidentally scaring away the phasmid. As for recording another playthrough - in the end, it is your decision if you want to do it. I will say there is a lot of content you could still comment on that you missed on the first playthrough. As for the deserter being the killer at the end, that is a common criticism, and I really understand it, but the game really is more about the themes here - finding the solution in something unexpected, something that seemed impossible. (Like the phasmid as well). While the main people behind the game are self-described communists, their point was more than just politics, it's about perserverance and discovering the impossible and unexpected in moments of hopelessness. Also, the deserter really mirrors Harry well, he also couldn't let go of what he loved and the trauma he went through losing it. Hope you had fun playing, I had fun watching, although I guess I am also sort of addicted to watching people play this game.

I’m truly delighted to hear your voice again, Grace🥰. Interestingly, I didn’t invest much time in character creation initially because I felt an innate connection with ‘Detective Fragile’. I thought, 'This is who I am meant to be, let’s embrace the madness.'🤣 Consequently, I opted for the Sensitive type. But I completely got you there; making choices can indeed be challenging, same here. (*The background music goes off🤣🤣) Fortunately, I had the luxury of playing this game in my native language, and the official translation only enhanced the experience. The sheer volume of text in this game is staggering. Reading these texts in English feels like an entirely new language.🤣🤣 P.S. A heartfelt thanks to the official translators and the creators of the game. It’s one of the most extraordinary gaming experiences I’ve ever had.😍

Very fascinating always to watch a playthrough where someone plays completely differently to yourself. You really got hit hard by the game, ending up with having to run around and level up, then trying your best to solve an unsolveable situation without violence. I don't know how you feel about advie/spoilers/backseating, but suffice to say, things could have gone somewhat differently (worse too) and you missed some stuff earlier in the game that might have been quite interesting to you (some worldbuilding/lore-stuff that I have seen people miss way too often because it is a bit weird to access if you don't just ask everyone everything). So maybe - on or off stream - you might want to play this game again some time. As of now, you are in the fina stretch, excited to see how you will find the conclusion.

This has got to be one of the most enjoyably authentic beginnings to a Disco Elysium playthrough ever. I mean this in the best way when I say you really brought across waking up with a terrible hangover, having no idea what is happening and being overburdened with things to do. Made me smile, great stuff.
