For me personally, the game reminded me of SLUDGE LIFE

Seems like a chill collecathon style game. You just talk to NPCs and they give you random tasks and you can also upgrade the number of swings you can do. I'm guessing there's a couple of tiny worlds to explore but in the demo it's just this one it seems.

Sadly I haven't played in a while due to performance troubles on my low spec pc (below the min specs to be fair to the game though). While I mostly found it hard to find opportunities to use the jumping damage aspect of the electric weapons, my favorite was using them in strongholds (domination) on the central base where ai pops out on a point. Really confuses enemies capturing a point because you can do it out of their line of site.

Correct. You can see in the bottom it say's Shader: None when it's off once I switch it.

I used to own one, so yeah. Although I don't have access to one anymore and it's been quite a while. I'm glad these shaders exists as an easy way to try to best restore the intended look games had when they took advantage of crt screen limitations. I personally try to add as minimal effect to try and fix things like dithering / color blending.

there are many crt graveyards, it'll probably be cheap or free. dithering and color blending just arent a real recreation.

Jumping on enemies gives you a boost, especially if you chain it without touching the ground. You can actually get around 13 seconds in this level that way, but I'm not good enough to grind to that skill level.
