@@findtom1 thank you! 😊 I felt safe. Not once I felt unsafe. Even in the evening after going out for dinner and drinks. Around Civic Center is where it gets a little risky and the Tenderloin area but even then not too bad. They opened up an IKEA right next where the Westfield Centre used to be which was random. I just got back from Vancouver, BC and I drove by this area on the way to the Vancouver Lookout that was pretty much taken over by homelessness. That was wild.. it was a few blocks. I seen people doing drugs. I’ve never seen that when I travelled to Portland, NY, and SF.
@@joycer7 Thank you, yes the Vancouver Eastside is unlike anything I've seen before and I used to live in downtown LA. I'm visiting SF with my gf and planning on being mostly in the immediate area of the hotel. We're looking forward to the 24 hour pool at the St Regis SF.
The Oregon coast is so beautiful 😍!
That looks like the stretch of road between Medford and Tule Lake. That's where I found out my speedometer was accurate. An Oregon State Trooper gave me a ticket for 71mph in a 55mph zone. My brother and I were running late for a gig in Tule Lake, so he said step on it. I said okay if you pay the tickets. Lo and behold he paid the ticket, but I got us there on time...😂
It almost looks like you're retracing my footsteps as to your lake travels because I once stood in that exact spot. Especially mountain lakes. A good one is Wenatchee Lake, Washington. We had a huge get together for our 4000 hour party, when I worked for Evergreen Helicopters. We spent the day with our families relaxing, swimming, water skiing, barbecuing, and generally just having fun. Right on the beach at the Cougar Inn, it was a blast! 😊
