@Him-z5k 2G here in the UK was an old type of artificial grass, very short almost like carpet and coverer in sand. 4G is the most modern upto date version of artifical grass, but uses lots of black rubber pellets. They in the summer get so hot and uncomfortable.

@@Krissfootykicks I got like short artificial grass with no sand or rubber pellets so I wonder if I can use the predator elite ft on it.Ill say the grass isn’t like turf,its a bit short and has a hard ground under it

@@Him-z5k I would say 100% not. I would say it's not at all designed for that type of ground.

@kevinjackson7961 I've actually gone down half a size. And they seem to fit just perfect. Was concerned if I went usual size UK9 that they would stretch.

That’s what I wanted to do but it was sold out so I went with my normal predator size… oh well I’m just happy to have them

@@kevinjackson7961 I’m sure you’ll be fine. I like a snug fit so that’s why i went down half a size. Kinda guessed really as I’m an 8.5 in a copa mundial.

@baraaamir7891 so I had the F50 pluses. They broke after one training session. And I had to return them. But I have to say the Limited time with them I thought the were better than the standard ones.

@Krissfootykicks how is the sizing, and is the toe box slightly higher or more anatomical. The reason I ask is because I have a slightly higher bug toe and I find the standard f50 too cramped in the toes.

@baraaamir7891 much roomier than the standards. I went true to size but defo had more room. Lock down was reasonable but not exceptional. Only had an hour so can't give an expert review.

@Krissfootykicks that's the weird thing, why don't many of the reviewrs point that out? They all just say, it fits the same go true size, while in reality you can clearly tell they look like the changed the last. Thanks for the input! Also would you ever consider adding laces to laceless boots, I've seen some that have done that with promising results. Because I much prefer one peice uppers but wish they had laces.

@baraaamir7891 I guess it's how they review them. I actually play and train so give an honest opinion. I'm not sure all reviewers actually play in the boots they review and if they do, is it in a competitive match? 🤷‍♂️ I don't see the point in adding laces to a laceless boot. Seems to defeat the object. But each to they're own. Lol

Hey thanks for the comment. It is a great boot and really underrated. Regarding the sizing i have gone down half a size. Just to get a better fit. I have to say doing that has made them even better. So can defo recommend going down half a size.

@Krissfootykicks is the midfoot too tight after going half a size down, or are they similar feeling interms of width. Because my current true to size pair are great, I usually get very very mild cramping initially like in the first 5 mins then disappears, so I hope the width isn't much tighter and it's just a length shortened ?

@@baraaamir7891 I can’t say i have personally noticed or felt any further tightness with the width. It is more of a snug fit initially but after 5-10mins, everything just feel great and snug. I have even gone with a runners loop for additional lockdown.

@Krissfootykicks okay great your convincing me to buy a half size small now😅 I've been tempted but wanted to ask people of their thoughts. I tried half a size small in the standard non carbon and it felt a little tight around the toes, but I believe the carbon has a slightly roomier toe box so it should be good

@@Krissfootykicks from what I read and remembering from videos made by huge TH-camrs in the boot community I two things. one is Diadora around the mid late 2000s liquidated along with synthetics of Nike and adidas being popular even though which the latter is odd given Diadora did made good non leather boots too.

@@Krissfootykicks Diadora also kinda tried to stick with the trends which didn’t worked but their non leather boots were actually great adidas and Nike alternatives from what I can remember. Since the mid 2010s they’ve gone back to their roots to release these classics which as someone who’s a boot head in his early 30s and grew up with Em,it’s a beautiful thing to do

@tsili7619 The pros fit exactly the same my friend so go try them. In my opinion I'd go down half a size for a super snug fit. Or go true to size if you want to play it safe. But if you can try the pros, do it. Hope that helps.

@@Krissfootykicks we can return too here in Greece but it takes so much time so the best is to try them on so as to be sure Yeah , this colourway will be popular for sure But with cleaning is an issue because I play on ag all the time So after one two session and games the mercs will be black And i always cleaning my cleats But these I think will be difficult

@tsili7619 Oh that's not good, here it's not to bad and quite quick. Haha you'll need a scrubbing brush or old toothbrush for sure. I'm the same, hate dirty boots, have to clean them as soon as I'm home after a game. I only really wear black boots on AG. Most games are played here on grass during the season, great when it's dry but when it's December and raining constantly, boots are a nightmare to clean and dry! 🤦😆

@riichobamin7612 The pred or the F50? I'd say the F50 is more accommodating than the Pred. But I guess it's what you prefer. I like a snug boot, I could of gone have a size up to give me more room. So I guess, try them and if not ideal, go up half a size.

@BGZPro Depending on how wide we are talking, but 100%. I don't have super wide feet or thin, kinda average I guess, I like them snug and tight, and these are excellent. As long as your not big foot, they should be good.

@feyi8 can you try both instore? Try and compare somehow? I've found the mercurial strange. The 14 fits perfect in a UK9, the 15's slightly to long in a UK so gone down to a UK 8.5 in the 16's and at the moment before playing in them seem to fit perfect.

@lucasbotto5413 Do you know I've never really been a vapor guy. I had a few pairs from when the first came out all those years ago. I wore the take down pro version of the 14 which was OK. But I probably stopped wearing them after the 2009 vapor superfly 1. I still have that pair. Just never seemed to be able to get on with them. What about yourself?

@christopherperez9666 absolutely perfect. No issues at all. Amazing boot. If you can get it, get it. I've had no, cracks, bad wear or anything. The boot is lovely.

@@Krissfootykicks last question for you, do you think they run a little bigger or stretch out?

@christopherperez9666 They definitely stretch out a little. Overall the fit is ever so slightly larger than the hybrid touch 2.0. But I've still gone true to size and not had any issues.

@@Krissfootykicks thank you so much for all the responses, I m in the US we have a lot of AG pitches here. I have the chance to purchase these, but I m little hesitant. mainly cause ill be mostly playing with them on AG. that's why i was asking about the durability.

@christopherperez9666 understand. I have had no issues with mine on AG. But the sole plates are slightly different on the FT elites to the others. On these, the sole plate is more like a non FT soleplate.
