Paul Schollaert is a Belgian priest and composer. In 1969, he was in charge of directing the choir of the Lemmensinstituut Leuven even before he graduated as laureate music pedagogy. Schollaert remained at the institute as a choral director and teacher of choral conducting, music education and liturgy. He was active as a composer of choral works, hymns, and children's songs (often arranged in the Orff Schulwerk style).

Ons Dorado was a youth music group (choral and instrumental) from the St-Louis College in Bruges, Belgium. The ensemble often incorporated the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education. The ensemble was founded in 1953 by E. H. Paul Hanoulle, and toured all over Europe, South Africa and the USA. Ons Dorado made at least 22 recordings (possibly more) during its tenure.

Throughout his international career as a music educator, Jos Wuytack developed an active and creative approach to music education based upon the principles of Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman, who recognized Wuytack as a leading figure in the Orff Schulwerk approach to music and dance education. Wuytack is known for adapting the French edition of Orff Schulwerk (Musica Poetica Edition Française). His system of Active Music Listening and Appreciation (Musica Activa) has been edited in English, Flemish, French, Portuguese and Spanish, and has been widely used in Western Europe and North America. Wuytack has composed a wide range of vocal and instrumental works for choir, recorders, percussion, Orff Schulwerk ensemble and orchestra.

There are so many raunchy Santa movies today, trying to obliterate the true spirit of Christmas. This music keeps its meaning alive. Also, excellent article by Naomi Wolf: I Remember the REAL Christmas.

Was among my most despised Christmas gifts when this was new, and I was young (Christmas music received on Christmas Day). Became a favorite. Still a treasure to me now. So good to find it here as I do not keep a turn table connected these days.

Pierre Van Hauwe (1920 - 2009) was a Dutch musician and music educator of Flemish descent who was among the biggest promoters of the Orff Schulwerk approach to music and dance education. Hauwe is known for adapting the Dutch edition of Orff Schulwerk titled "Spelen Met Muziek." He spent a good portion of his career as music director at the Stedelijke Muziekschool Delft, Netherlands.
