Dual AMPSA (NTI-Style) Nightguard in Exocad
มุมมอง 9522 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello again! In this video I'm going to piggyback off my last video about how to design an AMPSA style nightguard or deprogrammer. But this time, it's for both upper and lower! I like these for severe clenchers, as well as anyone with opposing restorations/veneers/bridges/implants. As of this date I am printing using Sprintray Pro printers and Sprintray Nightguard Flex resin.

Using iPhone and iPad photography with IOC Snapshot and Open Dental
มุมมอง 9362 ปีที่แล้ว
This video demonstrates how you could use an iPhone or iPad for patient photos, and how to integrate them directly into Open Dental via the IOC Snapshot app and program. I used to be snobbish about my cameras. Now I just care about what’s most simple to use so my team can be getting them every patient. I would recommend getting a ring flash or a lighting mount geared toward dental photography. ...

So awesome. Top 100 dentist.
I thought you were going to show a picture of the rpd in the mouth
Glad you are still making videos. Just found your page and watching videos. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thank you! =)
I just would like to know your settings to print. my print doesn't seem to stick properly
Are there any FDA regulations on anodizing using this method just in case if something goes wrong or the titanium harms the patient in the long run?
In this blueskybio, does it possible to customise the linear movement , torque and rotation and all ? Or it is preset and defined . Cant we change those value ?
Thank you for the video. Why do you do each splint as a separate case please? Instead of selecting splint for both arches and designing in one go.
17:58 when you derotate the molars does it affect the mandible in adults?
Hey Matt! Thanks for the vid! How long does a 6ml bottle of Taub Elixir last ya?
Which Color Elixir are you using on the gums? Thanks
Great! Thanks for the video What is the ratio Mix baking soda and water?
Look at the lingual of the finished product, yikes.
Thank you for this video fro, Siberia!
Very helpful video....thank you! Can you share info about the little blower you are using, please?
Hahaha hardcore macgyver, will never do this myself but much respect!
Hello and thank you, it was a great lesson Now I have a question: why didn't you talk about the gap axial diameter parameters, how should I understand these and other parameters so that I can adjust in the best way. What is the best amount of cement space?
What are your favorite materials for a case like this?
hi, is there a way to have it export as a monolithic partial instead of printing it in 2 resins?
you could take the two stl files and combine them in meshmixer if needed..
Channel will blow up sooon
Againnnn thank you
MY BRUDDA. THE WORKFLOW IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR . THANK YOU
Thanks for videos!!! What resin do you use to print? Cure with ottoflash? How long this temporary partial will last? Thanks
When your marginating, how do you zoom in and rotate model? Thank u
How to instalation in model?
This is awesome! Thanks for the awesome instructional and buy list! Subscribing!
My pleasure! I'm glad you found value in it! Best wishes.
bad anatomy
From start to finish - 3 hours max conventional way and it's done.
Can printed partials only be used for a temporary option?
Depends on the materials used. Valplast partials which are a permanent solution of sorts are printed. I am using a Graphy flexible resin product at this time.
Great demo. Do you use the snap curve function?
Can you show a video with the way you used to do the partial when you did have the option and separate the teeth from the base
may i know what kind of scanner you are using?
This one was itero. We have an Element 5D, CS3600, and medit 1700w
@@matthewstandridgeddsfagd5247 all you mention is compatible with exocad? thank you by the way.
@@mizieizie7166 Yes. Exocad can work with STL and PLY scans, so the majority of scanners on the market export in one or both of those
Hi Dr. What's up? please.. 1_ what is meant by low and high torque bracket, and what cases we can use them? 2_ how can we deal with wagon wheel effect, when a torque is applied to the anterior teeth especially the laterals.. and if happend, how can we fix it? thank you so much. 🙏🌹
Thanks for the video. Is there a cheaper version of EXOCAD? is EXOCAD superior than other softwares? Thanks!
matthew I am not able to get the icon on open dental. any recommendations. I clicked on the IOS snapshot on the computer and added the open dental plug in?
Doc, what are using for the clear coat?
Hello doc. Great video! I have a qustion about the IPR. When the softoware says that we need to do 0.6mm IPR does that mean we need to do 0.6mm from both theeth (o.6mm from the distal side of the first molar and 0.6mm of the mesial side of the secont molar) or it means 0.6 total ( 0.3mm from the distal side of the first molar and 0.3mm of the medial side of the secont molar)?
Great question. The IPR is total cumulative, meaning 0.6mm total. That is typically divided evenly between the two teeth (0.3mm from distal of 1st, 0.3mm from mesial of 2nd). Hope this helps!
so would it have been fine to print with thinner supports?
Is there an option to create a custom cephalometric analysis?
thx
thx
Care to share the custom curing profile? 😀😀😀👍👍
What was the material you used to tint the gingiva
Taub LMD Elixers
Wow this really is great tip. Thanks
Why it culdnot be a permanente restaoration
Resin does not have the same level of strength as a milled ceramic, at least not yet. So if the patient has a very strong bite they could eventually fracture this resin temporary, while they would be a lot less likely to fracture a monolithic zirconia restoration
@@nickentros Bingo!
I have a feeling after bracket positioning on Blue Sky that bracket base doesn't lay correcly on the tooth surface and there is no information how far is bracket base from tooth surface. Don't you have problems with too much or too little adhesive?
I wonder could we use a second program to segment and export the model base with bracket then import to blue sky for the purpose iDB
how do you understand things like - rotation of the maxilla and mandible using class II Elastics ? - ending anterior proclination of upper and lower incisors? - among other things ... like almost all the movements being made.. terrible precision when the proper initial frame of references like occlusal plane angle are entered into the equation as being a completely flat occlusal plane every time on every case is not being accounted for?? in most class II Corrections we want to intrude the mandibular molars and extrude the maxillary molars you know why it's not in there? because we've gotten lazy and conveniently forgot it to the point that it doesn't even register when looking at these animations that it's a highly likely source of bad data entered that negatively affects the case
Good job
Cool stuff, Dr. Standridge!
Hey Dr. Standridge, with those being immediates I assume you are planning on relining them. Are you able to use traditional relining materials on the printed denture base?
Correct. I use CoeSoft for my relines and it's worked well. Some hard liners can be tough to bond, but was doable when I started using Stergold's LC varnish or Triad's LC varnish to act as a bonding agent.
@@matthewstandridgeddsfagd5247 What protocol are you using with the coe-soft? I have struggled getting it to stick with the regular priming agents.
Yap 24/7 you got it
