On the night of October 11th, at approximately 11:00 PM, a tragic incident unfolded between Lekha and Tumru village. Preliminary reports indicate that a young man and a woman ended up in the Pare river while inside a car. While the young man managed to escape, the young woman, tragically, did not survive.
Responding swiftly to the situation, the Doimukh Police, in collaboration with the NDRF, took immediate action.
The deceased has been identified as Yanu Marde, and her body was discovered near the Saturday Market Bridge in Doimukh.
However, the vehicle involved in the accident remains unaccounted for at this time.
Three male individuals have been detained by the police due to suspicions of foul play, as the deceased's family raised concerns. These individuals are currently held at the Doimukh Police Station.
