I will be boycotting Remedy for the EPIC exclusivity on PC version of the game since I owned the first game on STEAM and now the second game is on EPIC so that splits my collection so I will be getting a refund and screw Remedy. 😡😡😡

Any word on a release date??

I bought this game two months ago. I got to the beginning of dairon,after that I put it down. For about two months, In that time I beat xeno 2 and 3. I then picked it backed up got to kraid and been playing ever since. Just made it to the first part of hanubia, this game is soooooo incredible!!! The upgrades going back to places that you couldn’t reach before. The game is beautiful for a Nintendo game

Frame rate wasn't an issue for me. Only when the game loads from a leyline fountain I think it takes a few seconds to properly load the world. The story wasn't written that good its pace and exposition is too shallow, although the metaphors and the end of the game "fixed" this problem a little. Gameplay, combat system, world exploration, graphics and music are god-tier (or nahobino-tier?) I think a "maniax/royal/golden" version would do this game a favor to turn it into a more excellent game.

This seems great but my only problem, is that in most games, there’s progression, you find and upgrade weapons etc but in this game, when you die, you go back to the start. Kinda seems like that takes the fun out of it. Nothing to work for, no amazing guns to finally find/earn. No doubt it looks really fun but I just like progressing , in game. I just watched vid, stating returnal, will be free on ps plus, in June. However, I think maybe only in US and not U.K. because of lack of progression, if it is t on ps plus next month, I won’t buy it. I love games like for instance, Switch and Shoot. For Any1 interested, it’s a simple space invaders, type of game and you only use 1 button. Each press, fires a bullet and will move you left of right. Sounds weird and possibly even boring but I can tell you that if you like indie games, I’d you like shoot em ups and if you like finding something really different, from the norm, then you’ll love switch and shoot. Just like this game, when you die, you start from beginning. Only difference is that, switch and shoot is perfect like this, just like all arcade games. When you die, you start again. Just this returnal, isn’t a small gun addictive Indie game. It’s triple a, with great graphics, modern shit overall and I just think that many will be pissed off by the die and start again. No keeping weapons or anything . Of course, I may feel different, after playing the game but I’m unsure.

I don't think it's a bad game necessarily, but the combat is probably the most bland combat I've experienced from Atlus. The fusion system, while nicely supplemented in quality of life with features like compendium fusion, is also badly hurt by new systems poorly integrating with old ones, like how the elemental affinity system kind of feels life a cost wall in team building rather than something rewarding, because of the nature chaining fusion... If two light affinity demons were also likely to fuse into a demon with light affinity, that'd be different, but one look at an SMT fusion table tells you you're gonna have a bad time there. I think this game is going to be remembered poorly.

How does the combat compare to dark souls or Elden Ring combat? I played Elden Ring for about six hours and I did not like how you were committed to an animation. It felt like the combat was very slow and chunky in my opinion. I prefer something faster pace like Final Fantasy 15 are kingdom hearts 3.

I have to say the Mario kart announcement was exciting! I got the expansion pack when it came out for Animal crossing but it feels like it's paying off now with Mother and all those Mario kart tracks!

Literally could have just been the Front Mission announcement and I'd have been jacked. Everything else was icing on the cake.

Great review! Welcome to soulsborne I highly recommend Bloodborne which is now on ps5 (and will hopefully be patched soon to take advantage of the more powerful hardware). It’s the only souls game I have 100% trophies for, with very good reason: it rocks!

mobile games underated. at first they were all casinoy but now they have gotten some depth and most people have a phone, not everyone has a computer.

Microsoft Can't keep buying publishers for long eventually the government will step in which is what they're doing now Microsoft is having legal battles over the activision aquisistion but the one good thing to come out of sony losing cod doom elder scrulls and fallout is now sony is going to have to get more creative like they did with the ps3 days instead of depending on cod and doom make your own shooters like they did with resistance kill zone and socom and creative your own sci-fi and fantasy RPG's

Almost reminds me of this phone game I played called "Monument Valley" I think they made 2 of them and they are small puzzle games but it involves rotating the map for perspectives and it's... it's delightful. lol The art style is so beautiful and it's just fun. I beat both of the games and loved every minute of it

that first twitter comment you showed about the unethicalness of NFT's had me on the floor laughing, NFTs don't create a massive shortage of chips, bitcoin mining farms do. corporations in the physical world do a million times more damage, also they aren't mined but they are "minted" using smart contracts, on ERC20 tokens like ETHeruem that are no longer mined.
