I got a woodmaster 4400 I loaded it Full twice a day last week as well. My house is a two story American 4 square. I am heating 2400sq ft of living space and 800 sq ft of unfinished basement. I have two furnaces. One in the basement one in the attic. I have only finished the installation of the water heater and basement furnace with a 100k BTU heat exchanger in my duct work of my 70k BTU furnace. My attic furnace is another 50k BTU. I have both gas furnace thermostats set to 65. My first floor has been toasty warm at 75 during the day and 77-80 at night in hopes to get the heat to rise upstairs. Most nights it kept the upstairs at about 67 but I did see the -6° night it hit the 65° thermostat and the gas furnace had to help out. We've had $350+ gas bills in this old farm house before. $275 is the average. This last gas bill was $70! We still have a gas clothes dryer. And the water heater still kicks on occasionally even with the temp set to warm when we fill the tub for the kids. Hopefully trying to get the other 100k BTU heat exchanger installed in the attic tomorrow. Stay warm my fire wood friend

Was this wood burning system the original heat source for your house? Can you add it to an existing system and replace the furnace in the basement? Do you have radiators or baseboards in the house? I find your wood burner so fascinating. I love a big black dog in the background. Nice touch.

Got the same pipe I only get melt off when it gets close to 32 degrees if it’s below that it doesn’t so heat loss ain’t that bad and mine is buried 8” deep. I run a edge 560 and keep water at 175-185 depending on how cold it is if it’s negative temps I’ll bump it up to 188 so it stays hot and more heat transfer to the 3000sqft house, domestic water and garage that’s probably 1500+sqft

I have 2400sqft home super insulated with radiant barrier, 4 inches of closed cell foam on exterior walls. For the interior walls i have 6 inch rockwool bats and ceilings I have 10 inches of open cell spray foam. Its currently 19 degrees here F with wind chills near single digits. My home is heated using an old pot belly wood stove to a toasty 68 degrees. During the summer the house is cooled with EG4 Solar Mini Split systems. They can run all day for free using solar and use very little 110v power at night.
