My choice is mobile ones synthetic. So much cheaper and goes so much further. If you do a comparison gun oil is expensive and it’s ridiculous. buy a quart of Gun and compared to the price of a quart of motor oil. There is no comparison. They may say stuff like well. Your motor doesn’t have rust inhibitors lol maybe not 50 years ago but now more than any gun.Oil.
Yup! Been using it 17+ years and no rust or issues with any of my firearms.

The military has put me in worse situations for my health 😆 18yrs using motor oil on all my weapons and luckily no cancer yet. Not advocating for ppl to do the same. Just saying it works.

Motor doesn’t have rust inhibitors though, has anybody had issues with rust that uses motor oil?
In the last 18yrs I haven’t had any issues. I have a few firearms that I don’t use and once in a while I get them out and there’s no rust on them.
