This must be a project that has a very loose tolerance. This fixture looks good, but is doesn't look to be at all precise. Keep trying, CN manufacturing, you can get to western machining standards one day. Do your best!

Amazing. I love the fact that this type of knowledge is becoming more and more publicly available. A few years ago it seemed like this type of work was strictly secret and kept behind closed doors. But I greatly appreciate being able to see how these processes work and the amount of time and energy that goes into plastics, especially for automotive applications.

Seems pointless to me. If the part is out of spec at this point, uhhhh, its trash anyways
It's like a go no-go guage? I.e if it doesn't fit, it's bad. That's my best guess.
How would you know whether it's out of spec without inspection such as this? This seems like a functional gauge for inspecting GD&T callouts. In theory, if economical, errant features could be bored out, plugged with new material, and remachined. In any case, the inspection is necessary for QA, and may be useful for process control as well.
