I love the art style of The Links Awakening remake and seeing them do it again with Echos has me so excited! Also I’ve been waiting for Metroid Prime 4 forever. Nintendo coming through at the last hour of the Switch!

The list of games to go back to are growing... Hopefully 2024 slows down so I can put this at the top of the backlog and revisit it.

@@NeoAoshiYou should. After all the additions of free quality of life updates and stellar gameplay renovations, Sonic Frontiers went from a 7/10 at most to a 9/10 at the very least. It’s THAT good. And with the third update’s additional story and playable characters as well as a plethora of even more fan requested improvements, Sonic Frontiers has become one of the greatest Sonic games of all time, and a darn good action adventure platformer at that. I highly recommend giving it a fair chance.

Someday I'll give it a go again! Sonic 3+Knuckles and the Adventure games were my favorite growing up. I was looking for that Adventure style feeling and a lot of that DNA is there.

Did we game the same games at the same time?! Those are the LAN games of my OG days! I wish I could say those would be there but we've already got Halo CE in the Master Chief Collection. Unreal Tourney is forgotten to time and Epic has their cash cow of Fortnite, and SWAT was made by Sierra and published by Activision, and we know how they are these days, especially mid acquisition by Microsoft.

@@NeoAoshi All those companies got corrupted by the big money in gaming :( I especially miss SWAT3 the most. It had such a fun online component to it. That was the first time I learned about clans and the first one I ever joined. Although every game back then was something completely new. It's impossible to get that feeling back.
