If the Bhikkhunī Sangha is to flourish, the first step is to relieve Bhikkhunīs of some of their work, and laypeople can be invited to help. It is also important to bring in talented individuals from traditional Theravāda countries, or to go out and study in those countries. The system in traditional Theravāda countries is comprehensive. For example, in a meditation center, there is a full support system in place, allowing meditators to practice without any concerns. When establishing a monastic community, it is important to pay attention to the support system for practitioners. This is crucial because I encountered a case of failure. When I followed my young meditation teacher (who was very intelligent and skilled in meditation techniques but not from Myanmar), we left the well-established meditation center in Myanmar and set up a new center in another country. We found it difficult to meditate because we lost the full support system. So the vihara have a good system is more important . ❤ May the.Bhikkhunī sasana living a long time.
Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu… As a nun, I’m happy that it has happened in the USA, and I hope that one day I can also become part of the Bhikkhunī community. Please allow me to share some of my experiences and observations here, as an offering to the Bhikkhunī Sangha. I wish you success and prosperity. In Myanmar, there are two systems that make the Sasana strong. 1. **Dhamma exams and honorary titles** - This has become a main goal in monasteries. Whether they are monks or nuns, when they stay in a monk’s or nun’s monastery, they both study for these Dhamma exams. The exams include the Vinaya, Abhidhamma, and Suttanta. 2. **Meditation centers** - These centers provide comprehensive meditation training. These two systems give monks and nuns the main goals in their monastic life. As a result, they receive excellent education and meditation training. Through such cultivation, capable individuals and teachers can easily emerge. The Dhamma will surely thrive, and the Bhikkhunī Sangha will have successors. However, these two systems require separate specialized training and dedicated facilities.
can i learn and practice Dhamma , stay at other temple as a male lay person ?
Thank you to all Venerable bhikkhunis for this excellent discussion and sharing of experience. May the Bhikkhuni Sangha continue to develop around the globe for the benefit, inspiration and support of all Beings everywhere 🙏🙏🙏
Wishing you a wonderful day from Central Europe. Thank you for the opportunity to listen to your chanting (unexpected as it was - your live stream started right as I was listening to a podcast :) ) 🙏🙏🙏
Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu
What you need is a Bhikkhu champion who will take on a dedicated training role for Bhikkhunis. Look after yourselves sisters.

You do not have the answer.
Please don't be a suck like this. We need to work together and build from strength. This is "how to band-aid your existence".
Imagine being this weak.
Very special

Thank you for this teaching, dear Ayya. It is so heartbreaking to see all the terrible conflict in the world, and this sutta helps to manage that 🙏
Fear of the unknown.
Gassho. "People that have been grieved absolutely without their own fault, and in no connection to their own faults or weaknesses of character." This is who we are. :)
Thank you for this beautiful meditation guidance, guidance for life
Thank you very much to everyone for joining us in this "Launching of Awareness"! This was our first year to commemorate this event-and we received so many great ideas and valuable suggestions before, during and after. We look forward to following up with these, learning more, and continuing the sharing and the conversation-now that we have a date-in future annual commemorations. We encourage others to do so as well-not only Bhikkhunīs, but everyone, as the arahants belong to all of us.
