People are annoyed with Sakura because she keeps throwing pity parties for herself without improving at all. And the documentary did nothing because it showed how incompetent her trainers actually are. They don’t help her they just walk in tell her to sing and then she starts getting upset. Hybe’s nonchalant approach & Sakura’s lack of imitative is what for them here from unchecked complaints & no results. Sakura has been saying stuff like this since their last documentary 2 years ago….. how come everyone has made minor to major improvements EXCEPT her??? At some point the blame gotta fall on her too for her inability to sing well. It’s only so many other excuses you can blame it on before ultimately you realize the common denominator is Sakura herself. She doesn’t push herself, she isn’t being pushed by her directors- she’s coddled instead, she doesn’t get the necessary criticism she needs to grow (again coddled), she’s immature (she whines but refuses to solve her problem herself like her juniors iLLIT), and what she does in LS demands way more of her than any group she’s been in. She doesn’t want to face reality that only she can make up for her shortcomings. Can’t no one do the work for her and there’s no amount of crying that can change that. I don’t hate Sakura at all. Just saying the facts that if this were any other job- she’d be fired for all her constant whining & lack of imitative to do better and improve. I have anxiety, but do I sit here and cry or constantly complain when I’m expected to do the job I signed up for??? No! All I’m saying is she & her fans can only make so many excuses before long. Sakura needs to get a grip & actually do some WORK in those practice rooms or just become a tv personality atp.

I generally agree with you, but I can think of one group that IS self producing, and that's ONEWE. They are self formed, a bunch of school friends that decided to start a band, recruited one of their friends/neighbor and bribed a phenomenal vocalist that they met in a singing competition that they worked in with a cup of coffee (he won that competition, by the way..). They started creating all of their music on their own and even released 2 albums and only 2 years LATER they sign into their current company, RBW, where they redebuted under a new name. They are still the main creators of their songs, they sometimes work with RBWs in house producers, but for the most part it's them, and they ALL contribute to the creation of their songs. They write, compose, arrange and produce almost all of their songs. They only have 2 songs in their discography on which they are not the main creators, and even on those 2, at least one member also worked (and one of those songs is one of the least favorite song by the fans. We actually prefer the rock version that one of the members created). They are the definition of self produced.

Thank you...even with psy ganmustyle kpop was still not recognised but due to BTS all kpop groups now recognised. Case in point it was due to BTS that kpop categories were created in award shows like MTV video awards, people choice , billboard and MTV European music awards etc. And that is just one example. So yeah BTS paved the way and it is a fact people need to get period.

Also South Korea is a small country and most South Korean's don't see Kpop as real artists and prefer different other artists and groups who are not signed to Kpop labels. Yes you are correct. Kpop is not a genre it's an industry.
