1500 Mile Tesla Model 3 Camping Road Trip Using Only FSD Supervised
Join us on an adventure as we do a 1500 Mile Camping Roadtrip in our 2023 Tesla Model 3. Our goal was to use FSD Supervised for as much of the trip as possible and see how it handles in more rural areas. We had an absolute blast on this trip and hope you enjoy the ride as well!

Hey if you haven't tried S3XY buttons yet, I highly recommend them! You can do cool things like forcing OFF the wipers so auto wipers are not a problem anymore! Also drift mode is fun lol
For the rattle in the B pillar, there is a video of a guy putting felt tap in the seat adjuster track where it slides up and down to fix it. Sorry, don’t have the link.
Found it! th-cam.com/video/KctTaFCZhWE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SzwD3d9r6eJcTtYc
Not understanding why do we need to fix this ourselves this clearly Tesla quality control this should be taken care of by then not us.
Try going to any dealer of any mainstream car company and ask them to fix a rattle.
Thanks for taking the trouble to make this video. I have an occasionally buzz sound which I think comes from around the edge of the window when it’s up. Not sure how to resolve that ?
Isn't it so sad the build quality of these vehicles
Looks like the purple adapter also has an issue. Showing only 110v vs 220v. Might of been connection from the 14-50 to mobile connector (not seeded all the way)
I’ve done all the taping and foaming I can in the driver door. And I like you, still have a rattle or vibration noise in the upper left corner part of the door. It’s driving me crazy. Did you ever find out the reason for the upper corner of the door? I’ve done all the clips and felt taped the panel that touches the frame.
Good to hear from a new FSD driver’s perspective. The more you use it the more comfortable you will feel.
Try second skin overkill pro also besides the 2 items you have gotten
Thanks for the tutorial. I had an annoying ‘cable’ rattle from my PSD. I used the same foam tape you used and so far the rattle is gone.
I’m glad to hear it worked for you!
the highway/freeway software is still on the V12 stack. You can tell the car switches between the 2 softwares when it exits or enters
it now costs just 99/month
Thanks for sharing! Will give it a go
Great .. thank you. in a garage like this or room to avoid echo, use lavalier mic to improve sound quality
Thanks for the tip, I for sure noticed that while editing and will get me a good mic!

Thanks for sharing! Some of my favorite chargers. Keep on posting - each one will be better and better
Awesome video/reaction. Just got V12 last week and I have been loving it, I never really used FSD but now it’s good enough to use in the city. I have the same highway issues shown in the video. Merging is still an issue when entering the highway, staying in the left lane after passing, lane changes sometimes being so indecisive in heavy traffic that it makes it impossible to keep FSD engaged.
Yep I totally agree with you there! I did notice a bit of an improvement with the new V12.3.3 update but still not great on the highway. I am excited to see where the future takes us! Keep enjoying that FSD!
Hi, Thanks for the video, please do a update video on four way stops, and intersections where the the traffic lights aren't working, if possible. And if you go from point a to point b, where exactly does it stop? if Point b is your house, does it enter the driveway?
I will do a follow up video on this shortly! I have noticed that it does both, I have had it pull straight in to my driveway but other times it just stops before. Make sure your subbed and I will post a follow up soon :) Thanks for watching!
Props to your passenger for being such an awesome camera man
Haha my wife was happy to see this comment and said thank you! She did awesome!
It is believed the software stack for the highway is the same as 11.4.3. 12.3 only comes into play around town. I just bought a used tesla model 3 that already had FSD and having fun with it driving me around. I didn't get much time with 11.4.3 but pretty impressed with what 12.3 has done. Haven't had any phantom braking like 11.4.3. Yesterday it made an unprotected left before the car coming from the left had started making his right onto the road I was on, and they didn't even have their blinker on which was an interesting decision that it felt it knew he was turning..I wasn't sure they were turning.
Ahh that would make sense then for the highway driving, even with those few hiccups it is still truly amazing! I have done the same, just having a blast letting it drive me around and seeing the kind of decisions it makes. I hope you are enjoying your model 3 as much as I am, they are such cool cars!

Try buckling the passenger side safety belt. It’s a lot easier than going through all that.
This made a big difference for me too. Tons of rattles in the rear though... MYP
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 thanks.
Great how-to video. Thanks! My model Y sometimes rattles near the passenger door, but I found it was just that the seatbelt was not hanging properly, all I had to do was untwist it.
Thank you! Glad to hear yours was a simple fix! Thanks for sharing as well!
Omssss wow
😮😮😮
This was super helpful, thanks for the tips! I’m going to try and do this myself because the rattles are driving me crazy.
And ? Did you try it ?

Sick!
