In Summary: on 3rd May , we experienced very strong winds during the night.....12 boats capsized in foroddhani(no one was harmed) It was more "rippled effect" than cyclone hit itself. Ferries and flights off the island were inaccessible during this time . In the expected cyclone diverted and the Island is Safe.❤
Doesnt look like a cyclone passed by at all. Must have been a rather mild one
exactly....we just experienced the ripple effect of it....cant say the island was really hit , the cyclone diverted

as i mentioned on the video comment, zanzibar has no official digital nomad visa.... you are not supposed to work with a tourist visa so i'm not encouraging it...however, if you are to take care of some remote business while there, this is a guide on where you can :)
@@khiilara AI engineer here, I work remotely, as a Kenyan things can go south quickly in TZ so i am quite scared and to make it worse u can't find this info online and their immigration guys dont reply messages. Ive heard cases where hotel staff report u and they search your laptops

Stayed here for 1 month and and extra week....Highly recommended for both Nomads and People on vacation - Wifi ( ok for vacation, not so good for digital nomads.., get a Kenyan sim card for internet backup) - Solar - Pool - Clean 24/7 - 5-10 Mins from beach - Nice neighborhood www.booking.com/hotel/ke/casa-da-luna-watamu-kenya.en-gb.html
