@markvannunen3812 Ah its my breeding pigeons that are in lower nests cause less trouble that way. Also some are birds from interstate past flyers. Don't want to lose them due to fun flying around and the hawk or falcon decides to come around.

@Dani-jq6db omg 😀 I remember st Albans pet shop they had some good birds that takes me waaay back also another good place was a farm corner of leakes rd and derrimut rd they were selling chickens ducks sheep all sorts of birds and heaps of pigeons and bird food back when 20 kg bag of pigeon mix was $14-$15 it was awesome buy pigeon food and couple of pigeons and go home😄 . Yes I leave the garlic for ever till it dissolves after a while it turns all while and soft. Keeps birds very healthy and I still wash rinse with brush every 3-4 weeks iust in case and I change water daily.

I caught my first serbian and I was hooked

As a kid I had a very small serbian grey tail all different colours ugly looking bird black red blue white on its face it had a sheshka head like white on the sides of the beak it was my best flyer 7 hours

Sometimes, sometimes hawk helps 😂

When they fly with Serbians they like to stay with them but yea not as fast but faster then Serbians when they want to 👍

Hi mate, as soon as I have flyers I will let birds breed more and after getting first to people who have been waiting by summer-ish I might have some available after that will be a wait as I have been overseas for a bit then I put flyers to breeders. But in saying that melbourne has way better Serbs than mine you will easily find no probs 😊👍

Hi mate👍 I don't have flyers at the moment I have had flyers 3-4 hours I overfeed them 😅 but I did get 5-7 hours also with lighter food I'm happy for them to fly 3-4 hours though. Not a serious flyer or strict regime lol.

@@highflyerpigeonsmelbournei4932 are Serbian Highflyers a fast flying bird and do you have any problems with hawks catching them. the reason i ask is because i keep budapest and there to fast for birds of pray to cach them. BUT i am thinking fo trying another breed that will fly longer than the budapest my budapest only fly for about 25 mins.

@pronster1 Yea Budapest's are nice👍. Serbians fly slower they tend to circle the area and are more prone to hawks and birds of prey. Young Serbians freak out from hawk sighting. Once they mature they are more chill and will go higher and some zoom like crazy down to escape if being chased. In my area I have huge hawk problems I will usually have a great new trained kit birds flying 2-3 hours then bang hawks happen kit of 8 turn to 7 then 6, I end up putting good flyers to breed as don't want to lose more that's melbourne Australia for ya lol
