Why upgrade your drums and cymbals? This may improve the look and feel of the kit, but on their own does upgrading the drums and cymbals make a difference? The module will have to be able to handle the upgraded pads. I think in the long run if you just buy a good high-end e-kit that has great drums and cymbals as well as a good module you will in the long run save money rather than wasting money to try to improve and upgrade your e-kit. By the time you have upgraded your e-kit you will have spent along with the initial price of your e-kit, you will have soent what it takes just to get a good higher-end e-kit that will not need upgrades and will probably be a whole lot better than an upgraded e-kit. Case in point; years ago I had an older e-kit that began to fail. I looked at what it would cost to get better drums and cymbals. What I found out is for the cost of better drums and cymbals I could just buy a much better e-kit that also comes with a better module. I also found that for not too much more money than the comparable drums and cymbals upgrade or the much better e-kit upgrade I could get a fantastic much better high-end e-kit. So the logical thing was to save up a little and get the high-end e-kit that does not need upgrades. I have been playing my high-end e-kit for some time now and it is fantastic. It feels, sounds, and plays 99% just like an accustic kit. The sounds it comes with are fantastic and even better than Roland sounds.

What about that hotspot? Where it is exactly? (I'm asking because I'm currently trying to replace my Yamaha PCY175 because of the crazy hotspotting issues it has.) I was (I am) considering this Inlock ride, but there aren't many reviews yet unfortunately. So, does it hotspot? 🫠

I’ve seen zero comments on these videos, here’s my 2 cents to help out any potential consumers. I got my plates in the mail today, just finished installing them, tested em out. And I must say, these are AMAZING. They are a little hands on to install, considering the jack isn’t long enough to protrude through the wall of the shells. Which is my only negative feedback on these. I ordered 4 plates, and they all had this same issue. However, once you get them on. Well worth the effort. So satisfying to have the capability to plug the cables directly into the drum. I recommend these to pretty much everybody/anybody. I love them and don’t regret the purchase. UFO Plates from World Drummers for the Win!

Will these fit my Axis double pedals?

I will definitely be ordering parts for my existing acoustic drum kit. I live in an apartment... I have a Electronic kit that just don't feel like my acoustic kit. These will put a HUGE smile on my face! Can't wait to start rebuilding my acoustic kit and give away my Simmons Titan 50 to a friend! You've save me from losing confidence!
