As long as the Tibetan Language remains, the Tibetan People will remain. Generations of Tibetan born after the Chinese invasion just continue to speak Tibetan, learn to read and write Tibetan at home . They will remain Tibetan. Even if there is a Chinese ancestor in their family, they will still consider themselves Tibetan. They may have to learn Chinese at school or are forced to speak Chinese outside their home, but if they were raised in a Tibetan home where no foreign language is allowed, they will be Tibetan. The Chinese can colonized Tibet for 1000 years but by year 1001, Tibet may stand up again as an independent nation. Chinese last names will morph into Tibetan words. Chinese literature will fade. Chinese cuisine gets absorbed into Tibetan dishes. Those are just Historical Facts that happened earlier. The Chinese may steal Tibetan land but no one can steal the Tibetan soul. May you, Tibetan people, safeguard your language and come join the family of free nations one day.

Please be well informed before talking to a camera. Lhakar is not merely Tibetan dance. Lhakar technically means White Wednesday. A day of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. White because we try to conduct on every Wednesday more virtuous acts, (restraining from eating meat for example) praying for the long life of His Holiness and also preserve our cultural dance. Everybody has a day in a week according to Tibetan horoscope.
