Anyone got the condensed version of this mega mix? I know it exists. Had a recording of it off of college radio in 87 but no longer have the cassette. It ends with the dj saying "dj double trouble." That's how I perhaps know it must be a shorter version of this gem you kindly posted.

I had this bit of bump and squiggle madness and used to drop liquid black microdots and dj other tracks in and out of this mix all bug eyed 😂

Serious UK put out the best vinyl mixes. I got my copy of House Hits Mega-Mix in 1988 at Bleecker Bob's on Melrose, along with Mix-Up by Cabaret Voltaire. Never knew there was an Acid House mix, too. It's weird how the cover art has aged faster than the music.

This was played at so many house parties it’s not even funny. The part that always turned the party next-level was this @18:55 ... I never forgot the feeling when this part played, surrounded by wall-to-wall people as you are sitting on a bass bin was like being in Less Than Zero... it still gives me goosebumps.

I have this on 12 vynyl record, I converted it to mp3 format so that I dont have to mess with a record player, I still listen to it sometimes. I still prefer trax without vocals, but this is the only one that I have. But now I have internet so I can hear the good stuff.

Was this from that album pictured? I remember Double Trouble used to do mixes, or mini-mixes, for Jeff Young's Friday eve Radio 1 show The Big Beat. (The first dedicated club show on Radio 1, which was taken over by Pete Tong at the start of 91.)
