Sounds like its working as it should.

Same problem I just built my pc and noticed that the cpu and dram lights were on for some seconds and after some seconds it turned off and the pc worked fine.

@@CJRyan716 I think it is better it takes air from the bottom and goes from the rear for the PSU instead it is taking hot air from the inside of the pc and put it is through the psu.

It actually runs waaay cooler than my 5800X. Its hovering around 56 deg right now.. I would need a whole different case to fit a 240 or 260 mm radiator anyway.

It's not intel. It runs at very low wattage in 90% of use cases especially in just gaming. It's 8 core not a 24 core.

I had a pump in a AIO fail twice rapidly after buying, one after the other. I cannot simply replace the pump and as I understand it filling it up after it loses fluid over a long time it is another issue in most models. For this reason I'd prefer a separate pump and mini res combo again. Also I went from i7-2600 to 5600X to 7700X now. Keeping the pump for that long not happening so easy to replace pump better than needing to find a new AIO for an old socket. I addition I need 80mm radiator and there are very few AIO with those. There are more with 40mm but 99% server sockets.

This space is for body positivity. Free the tatas.

Its big but I want the disk drive, the handle, the big ass graphics card, and external storage drives. Its an old case from Cooler Master called the Storm Scout II

This case is a CM Storm Scout II advance. Linus Tech tips built two PC's with it about 12 years ago lol. Find me a better case with a heavy duty handle on top for moving it around, because this is the best i know of with that feature

Hi Max. I didnt run a speedtest but i can run it when i get home and share the results. Note that you have an option to use the AMD wifi driver OR the realtek wifi driver. Not sure if that makes a difference, but both are avaialable through the gigabyte contol utility

As I can understand there are 2 versions of this motherboard: rev. 1.0 (Realtek Wi-Fi 6E RTL8852CE) and rev. 1.1 (AMD Wi-Fi 6E RZ616), so you should download driver for your version (Realtek or AMD). You can check revision in the bottom left corner of motherboard or on sticker on the box.

@@maxm4163 I have the 1.1 with AMD driver. I'm sure you're not interested in my broadband speed. You want speed between PC and Router (not internet). If I host a server on my LAN, my download speed is 12970.6 Mbps download and 10192.0 Mbps upload.

​@@maxm4163If stability and speed are that important pick the correct Broadcom (some have really bad firmware bugs) or find any Intel. Get a motherboard with E-key, there are a few. Easier to replace if anything if it fails with sending back the board, and you.can easily get a new WiFi standard without replacing the entire motherboard and maybe the CPU because the socket is done. Other option is to just get PCIe adapter with E-key. I got a few off AliExpress, very easy electronically speaking so no big worries. Usb is also an option but on Windows 11 I have bad experience with those bluescreening if bridged. Google told me that is a very specific bug but like the Explorer ram leak it simply has not been fixed for years. It should be easy and just work but guess not.

Did you try each rem stick by itself? Also try all slots with 1 stick. Also make sure they click in fully. Also, make sure there is no thermal paste leaking into the cpu slot. The cpu probably only goes in one way but make sure it's seated right.

@@deliciousfirstsip All of the components that were on the initial system are now perfectly working on another board so... it's the motherboard itself. Didn't trash it, waiting for some good soul willing to repair it.

Do you have a cpu you can swap out to see if it POSTs?

I’m having the same issue. I just ordered a new CPU today. It will be here Saturday! Will let you know if that fixes my issue.

Time is money! Spending time cutting/reassembling boxes to cheat USPS out of boxes designed for a specific paid service is not worth it to save a bit of cash, IMO.

I just bought a 560 Ti 448 for a retro gaming machine, which will fill a gap in my collection of PCs. It has a 3rd gen i5. While I wouldn't buy a new Nvidia GPU these days, for late '00s/early '10s gaming, there is no substitute. Some games will only run on a Nvidia GPU because of PhysX. Others just won't render as nice without it and when you are playing games from that era at 1080p, you want them to look as nice as possible. It is also about 3x the rasterization performance of the R7 250 I was using. I was pretty surprised when it wouldn't allow me to max out settings in Crysis and even more surprised when I couldn't max out settings in FO3. there is only one new release I am looking forward to - the Indy game. And I expect it to be a crapshow because Rage 2 proves that idTech isn't suitable for open world games. After playing Starfield, I decided to go back to the classics for awhile so I built machines necessary to do so. I can still play any game at 1440p with high framerates if I want but there isn't much worth playing. They can keep Phantom Liberty, JK Rowling is just offensive and I won't play the HP game because of it and Starfield was a total mess of a game. Online multiplayer has never been more toxic or less rewarding and I don't trust Bethesda to do a next gen remake of FO4 without ruining the game. GTA has been dead to me for a long time so, no matter how good GTAVI looks, I will never play it. Excuse me while I go play the original, Original Crysis. As in from a DVD-ROM. No updates, no patches (didn't need them back then), no reprocessing of assets or remake on a new engine. Still looks pretty friggin' good today, running at 1080p and that's just at the high setting (as opposed to V. High - the max). They literally sold people the game twice because they had never played it at high resolution and didn't realize there really wasn't a whole lot of room for improvement. Fun fact, a 15 year old Crysis DVD-ROM will run on Windows 10 and almost certainly on Windows 11 too. They've done enough patching to Windows and DX to support the continued sale of the game that it just works. Say what you like about EA but it was my original copy of HL I tried to run and was told by Steam that I couldn't because the key had already been redeemed. For a game I bought brand new and never registered. Valve has sold the same HL keys probably 3 or 4 times. The only way I can play my legitimately purchased original copy these days is on a non-networked Win98 machine. Yes, even on Win98, if the machine is networked, Valve will still give you the wagging finger. Meanwhile, I tried to register my EA games from the '00s and they didn't even recognize the product keys on their modern platform, which is frustrating when those games don't run in modern Windows but you can go pay them a second time for it on their online store and it will run. Not well because you are basically emulating Windows XP or 9x in a virtual machine but they work. So far, it is only Ubisoft that I have gotten to add old games from my disc library to my digital library. They recognized and validated a code from a sealed copy of ACII I bought with AC1 as the 'Assassin's Creed Collection' - as in when it was only 2 games. AC1 didn't have copy protection, oddly enough, so there is no code to register. But it works in Windows 10.

@@Lurch-Bot Speaking of Win98 and HL, my favorite game from the year was Populous The Beginning. You can play it on GOG Galaxy! Ive never seen another RTS game played on a globe like that to this day.
