I showcase fun stuff about technology!
New videos at least once a month
Things you can expect to see here:
Way too many sound effects
Sometimes showing off my own creations
Random discoveries I find in software
Useful tips, whenever I feel like it
The rare unboxing & setup video
And maybe even more in the future...?

Quick Start: M1 MacBook Air
Here's the first actual real life video on this channel, let me know what you think! I got this Mac used, in good condition, as a secondary computer to complement my M1 Mac mini.

มุมมอง 93K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
The new Siri sounds included in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. These sounds can be heard when using iOS/iPadOS 18.1 and above, or macOS 14.1 Sequoia and above, as of 7/29! Until then, here's the sound effects for iOS 18.0’s version of Siri: th-cam.com/video/NPYPsAFLvMc/w-d-xo.html Enjoy, and as always, these sounds come from Apple, feel free to use them though.
watchOS 11 Ringtones and Alerts
มุมมอง 14K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
All Apple Watch ringtones and notification sounds from watchOS 11 for 2024 until they're changed again. This was all humanely extracted from an Apple Watch running watchOS 11 Beta 1, so stuff might change by the release date! Links will be in the comments, since TH-cam is a fool. Cupertino's back at it again with a new fire track for yet another Accessibility feature, and I'm here to show it to you. This can be found in iOS 18's files.
iPadOS 17.2 Setup Speedrun - World Record
มุมมอง 42K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
I'm the world record holder since no one's competing except myself. Only 38 seconds! I even captured this using an actual capture card instead of QuickTime Player for better quality this time Sorry about the black bars. Featuring: iPad Air 4 256GB Green with iPadOS 17.2, obviously unmodified
macOS Sonoma Setup Speedrun (World Record)
มุมมอง 9158 หลายเดือนก่อน
The current world record speedrun in the any% category of macOS 14.2 Sonoma's Setup Assistant, 1:37:20. This speedrun uses the account settings skip which allowed me to skip everything that came after Location Services. Featuring: M1 Mac mini (And Apple Virtual Machine 1, I guess)
Headphone Accommodations Sample Music
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
The remastered version of the original Apple Headphone Accommodations Sample Music video. This time with a cooler visualizer and no longer a lame screen recording, this was ripped straight from iOS! Credits to Apple for the actual sample music, and Ferromagnetic, a macOS music visualizer on the App Store, go check it out!
AirPods Sounds (2023, Firmware 6.0)
มุมมอง 37Kปีที่แล้ว
These are all of the sound effects (including Adaptive Audio!) that I have extracted from AirPods Firmware (rkOS) 6.0 beta, and these sounds will all be present on AirPods Pro 2nd generation in the Fall of 2023. AirPods, rkOS, and these sound effects all belong to Apple. If you want to download each individual sound, they’re on my Google Drive at drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wkF_fi-4vsGyRBAf...
Apple Spatial Audio Sample Music | Stereo Version
มุมมอง 1.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Did I already make a video on this? Yes. But I’m gonna do it again! Remastered - No longer a screen recording Extended - 10 whole minutes, plus, it even loops! Ripped - Taken from a tvOS 16.3 IPSW file for an AppleTV5,3 (Apple TV HD) Link to original, non remastered video: th-cam.com/video/x7CeSImhj5s/w-d-xo.html This is the sample music played in Settings to demonstrate Spatial Audio on AirPod...

I have jingle on series 8 watchOS 10.6.1 and my friend has sashimi on watchOS 10.6.1 Apple Watch SE 2 and we are both in France 😂 But I don’t have cellular and he has cellular
story of under tale
Underrated who agrees 👇
I can’t believe that they changed the alarm sound for watchOS 11. I just heard that at the end of the video.
これってiOS11にしたらSE2でも使えますか?
This Reveal, Siri, Apple Intelligence, iPhone X and M1 Are about the Only Good Things in this Tim Cook Era.
that's a lot lol

yooo
watching this on the exact colour MacBook Air 😭
i’m love Apple
The last one is actually the homepod Siri sound. I got one yesterday, and I heard it!
download link please

Got my iPad one month ago and I did triple the time of the video to set it up, because it wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi.
Some of these sounds are actually on IOS 17, if you enable chatGPT to work with Siri.
This doesn’t look good 😅😭
Where are these? I just downloded the new os a few days ago on my series 9 and i cant find them
This is for watchOS 11, which is currently in beta testing. You'll see these sounds when you update to watchOS 11 in September (When it publicly releases)
Hello.
Hi.
And welcome back to Apple Park.
Hi
how do you make this virtual machine
used UTM (mac.getutm.app) on an M1 Mac mini
Cries in se 1st generation
This is hard, I fear
It’s not working when I do beta version.
iOS Sample Music > Taylor Swift
Apple > android
@@MrDino04apple and android are both great in their own categories and have their strengths and weaknesses in my opinion!
Frame interpolation goes hard on this one
I’m serious who are they letting in the Apple Studio recently? All of these new ringtones on WatchOS and IOS are FIRE
challenge accepted ✅
Thanks for not bloating this video with loads of nonsense, and you still got loads of views. Just goes to show…
Smiles in series 9
how to update my airpods
i cant beat it as im not going to upgrade because of jb
I could totally do it that fast hands down as well. Just helped my Dad setup his new work iPhone and we plowed through the setup.
*cries in series 5*
cries in series 5 (that i got 3 months ago)
Hmmmm Sounds like Windows Vista.....
My eyes aren’t professionally trained, but I believe this isn’t even 60fps possibly because you imported a 24 or 30fps video and exported it as 60
@@Hybrid225 I can 100% assure you this has had frame interpolation to make it legitimately a 60fps video, although this isn’t the easiest video to notice it on since it mostly shows a dark scene lacking in motion
I can tell that you can't see the difference
dudes eye is tweaking out i see 120FPS in it
How do you extract the sound from a headphones?
we got iPadOS 17.2 Setup Speedrun before GTA 6 😭💀
Спасибо! В видеомонтаже эти звуки будут как раз кстати
How do you record the setup screen?
I beg you to read the pinned comment
@@forcequitOS Oh I didn’t see it lol

Nice sounds
Try To Shatter It!
I will try. Best I can do is shave off probably like 4-9 seconds though realistically
Ok.
How do you even get access to firmware files in the first place, doesn’t that require decryption etc..
It requires extraction, not necessarily decryption It's pretty messy to do honestly, but not exactly hard. Here's all the resources I used: appledb.dev/ - Downloaded firmware file from here github.com/spotlightishere/superbinary-parser - Extracts firmware file github.com/19h/ftab-dump - Extracts FTAB.bin / CTAB.bin file within the extracted firmware, which is where most important data is stored (Such as these sounds)
@@forcequitOS interesting to see how it goes, I will definitely give it a try. To clarify does the firmware include files for visual aspects, say for example any of the icons for the noise control modes e.g (ANC, Off, Adaptive) or is that provided by iOS itself? I am guessing iOS does the visual aspects itself. Either way have a nice day man you definitely deserve more recognition imo!
@@calus-yc7bb iOS provides the graphics, likely in the private SF Symbols framework. Thank you for your kind words!
@@forcequitOSNo problem man :)🤝 Thanks for helping me out and clarifying all of this, without you I’d be stuck with no answers!
Would connecting to finder/itunes, activating there and then setting up count as cheating? It would skip the entire waiting for activation screen. Also on ios 4 and below would give you the fastest setup as there isn't really a setup. The only way is just connecting to a computer, that would be an incredibly short run.
@@rpst39 It wouldn’t count as cheating I’d say, just a different method of completing setup Cheating would be restoring a backup I’d say, or using Apple Configurator to deploy a configuration to a device In terms of activating an older device, yeah, iOS 4 and below would be really easy and fast, my only iOS 4 device is tied up right now though sadly, so I can’t erase it.
@@forcequitOS if it isn't chating it would be a pretty good strat as if the device is activated you can skip the wifi setup too.
@@rpst39 The main issue is that you'd still need to account for the time spent connected to a computer, activating the device, at which point it would be faster to just do the activation all on device
@@forcequitOS you could do it while choosing language and region so i think it should still save a few seconds
epic 🔥🔥
