I think you can only see fissures after you hit it with a prospector limpet.
@@PetraDarklander you can see fissures before, just a pain to find em
@@curryeanking guess I never looked that close. Yeah tonight I found about 6 or 8 out of 25 or so asteroids, and I was in a triple zone in a belt.
Turreted weapons & other equipment is more expensive because it allows for multi-crew (for example I can join you and control those while you control other weapons) and they can auto track behind you while do maneuvers ect.
Sorry man, I got some food in me and crashed out. Works been rough lately. I still want to join up in ED one of these days. You can go to the nav beacon in Eravate and scan ships down, and shoot at 'wanted' ships. I started out in my sidewinder doing that. It's probably the second safest way to get into combat, right after joining Live, and finding a group and being a fighter pilot.
Peak gaming content!
Hello
"Guardian Down" lmao
Then came the Ironclad to ruin all of the fun. Thanks a lot Drake.
Heck yeah. I think a Prospector, Expanse, and Cutter Scout on this thing would be an amazing two person mining experience. If the Expanse pooped out SCU boxes instead of just filling ore bags, then you could put those into the 400+ SCU storage of the Liberator and stay out there for a LONG time. Can't wait!
Let's go anvil liberator!
Anvil Liberator
Best AFK proud quest
Firewyrm most DEFINITELY will grind itself. Most Common AFK quest, lol
I just don't afk farm XD
Insane progress, considering its all new to you! Keep it up, and, hopefully, one day, we are gonna bring resources to The Big Tree!
Do you know if the game is region locked on pc?
I think so, based off your steam download region though
coolio
Park 'em back to back on top.
I think this ship is one of the better buys I'm the game. I believe it can also do limited repair work. As such it's a really multipurpose craft.
absolutely, I love the thought that its a jack of all, master of none carrier
I think it's a great ship! I believe it is the kind of ship that will bring people together! Being a crew member still doesn't have quite the appeal of flying your own ship. So having a "Mother" ship where all my friends can have another ship of their own to run is perfect, especially in industrial applications! Take a Liberator, loaded with two prospectors and an Expanse! You've got a team that can take one some serious mining! Plus in the internal garage you could have a Roc and maybe a Fury or two if you were to come under attack!
😂 i thought you were gonna say and thats where the vulture comes in. Slapped me with the liberator.
Naaaah XD vulture holds so little now in 3.22, need someone to hold all that CM baggage.
Your editing is getting a lot better. Also, give me more of dat voice 🤤
Ya nasty
Seems like an overly elaborate (and expensive) way to get a less effective Arrastra substitute. Using Prospectors on the Liberator still means you are stuck with the small mining lasers of the Prospectors and you lack refining capacity. At that point, I wonder what the added benefit of using the Liberator to go into deep space would be compared to just using the additional people required to crew more Prospectors mining closer to a station.
You are absolutely correct, it would be more efficient to use an arrastra for mining, I’m moreso stating a different way to use the liberator because it seems like it’ll be a “jack of all trades master of none” carrier. Honestly you would probably use a liberator as an escort carrier for the arrastra or Orion when doing deep space mining. Until we get deep space mining, can’t really say which is better for your last comment.
why do people keep forgetting the misc expanse is a thing.
I was going to talk about the expanse but then I would've also talked alot about other ships that go well with the lib too. Just trying to keep these vids very short.
0:35 "you actually able to replace them" - no you actually not. Since time when Prospector become flight ready in 2017 these "replaceble mining bags" are still not replacable today 6 years later.
I can double check for you in game maybe tomorrow or so, but there are plenty of videos atm that show that you can ever since 3.19.
@@curryeanking Yes, I see - it is possible to attach-detach bags as any other components. Ok. Now the question is - should they be empty and what happens with ore if they are not.
I would think if you put a half-full bag into a mole or prospector, it'll show what ore and how much there is. It won't just disappear. Still you would probably want to put empty ones in. @@alexpetrov8871
CIG liberate the Liberator
if the liberator and the expanse keep their current dimensions you should be able to fit a prospector, expanse, and a scout ship on a liberator.
Was thinking about the expanse, it’s definitely a good idea and we’ll have to see how efficient it would be to mine and refine on site when it comes out.
The options are there. Good video.
I have a liberator for the same thing, but my group's plan is to use a Galaxy for on site refining. The main thing I'm worried about is the efficiency of using Prospectors vs a ship with larger mining lasers. We also substitue the cargo ship for the Liberator/Galexy's cargo space. I think they should be enough for some pretty solid payouts. IF we get the people for a Starfarer to refuel, that could also be used as cargo runs between refueling.
In general I think it would be better to just use something like the arrastra or mole if you want to be efficient. the lib will be a "jack of all trades master of none" carrier so it'll never beat out any job specific ship.
Agreed, but I think it will be an amazing small to mid size org utility ship. Especially with its ability to move ground vehicles cargo when most ships have to give up a lot of cargo space for that.
@@butterbear9457 oh for sure I can see this ship being almost a staple for small orgs depending on their goals
I'm hoping to do salvage ops with the liberator and a couple vultures, and that 400 scu sounds great. can't wait for the liberator.
My only worry is that the vultures won't be able to be spawned on the upper landing pads just because they are literally 1 meter too long. Other than that yeah salvaging is gonna be fantastic.
@CIG listen to this man!
this ship is going to be sort of broken if we are allowed to park 6 manned ballistas on top of it and shoot torpedos at targets, let alone parking 6 manned tonks on top of it.
Shhhh! Don’t tell CiG. It will be a very funny battlebarge.
liberator go bbbrrrrrrrr @@DakkaDakka12
I really hope it gets released sooner than later. It can’t be THAT hard to make compared to the other large ships. In fact I would’ve rather had them build this instead of the 890 jump.
I can only hope haha, crossing my fingers for 2025
Considering the 890 is bugged and not everything has been implemented... nah. It's better this way. Quality over quantity.
Awesome content!
Hey all This is video all speculation and Hopium just to be clear
No harm in talking about what it could be though no?
Ahh yes, the two SC's of gaming. only starcraft can claim SC before CIG.
CIG RELEASE THE LIBERATOR NOW!!!
Also my favorite, my own virtual ToyHauler lets go!
CIG RELEASE THE LIBERATOR ASAP!!!!!!!!
I think it'd be great in combo with a vulture or two as a mobile salvage yard.
As self-proclaimed connoisseur of shoving things into other things, this is quite possibly my favorite ship in the game.
In concept
I feel the same way about the Crucible. Sell my repair services to orgs that are gonna do battle. Or just sit in orbit working hand in hand with Srv owners
I was really tempted to grabbing it during IAE XD the deployable bay was like music to my ears. For now though gotta conserve the wallet with just 1 big ship.
I want to use the Liberator as a base for salvaging. I think about carring a Vulture for hull stripping and structural salvaging, a 315p as a scout and to support with the tractor beam, and a Piscis med variant. Inside a ground vehicle like an Ursa Rover. With that setup I can salvage a big ship with one or two persons. The Liberator can not only carry the ships and vehicles, it can also store all the cargo, weapons and materials looted from the wreck.
I'm hoping we can spawn vultures on the upper pads, problem is the vulture is 33 m long and the xs pads are 32 m long. Up to CIG to allow it or not I guess.
I get enough satisfaction from this Sim just from staring at the ships! Can’t wait to get my own hangar(s) to do more of just that! Hopefully we will be able to customize our hangars one day too.
Careful with specs on the RSI website, theyre not always up to date XD *stares at constellation andromeda that's proof* enless that finally got updated, last i checked this month it still said 2x size 2 shields
Protoss good choice ; )
The Liberator is like the Space Minivan.
That’s the drake cutter for me XD

how i feel about the kraken/jav
The only reason why I’ll take the lib any day is because of the required crew size, other than that the kraken is beautiful.
@@curryeanking valid statement. i only bought and idris this last iae because i think it’ll be out before the kraken
