Saylor beal great reputation. I have an old quincy that is still going but need a new compressor for new location and it will be a saylor beal.
We have this exact same compressor at Valvoline. It’s less than a year old. The mag start burnt up, it’s constantly tripping the breaker, and the motor just burned up. I would stay away from these compressors. Not to mention how loud they are
i have one of these that i took the three-phase, 25 hp motor off, and put on a 10 hp - one phase. it is now time to rebuild the cylinders and i need to know do i use the 707 rebuild kit? It seems to have the correct gaskets and piston rings....
Just got one. American made. Baldor moter, Manchester tank, Eaton mag switch, hubell pressure switch. Other than possible the belts American made as u can get. Even the tank bushings are usa
That's what I like to hear! Saylor-Beall VT-735 - 5 HP it is I love supporting my country and buying USA stuff!
@@SquareBodyK5I just bought one. I like to never found an air compressor made in USA . Finally I read and watch some reviews on this brand. Cost me 4200 bucks but it’s made in USA 🇺🇸 I got the 80 gal,705 pump, baldor 5hp with starter switch. It hasn’t been delivered yet. They said 1-3 weeks. I was sold when I seen someone bought there’s in the early 80’s and it’s still working. Hopefully they are still heavy duty made! 😀
Okay Saylor Beall it’s 2024 ! Where’s an updated plant tour ? I love my model 9000 . It sure makes a lot of air . What a great compressor ! Hope you all have a great new year .
Please send me an 80 gallon for long term testing.
Didn't recognize anyone but did see the old drill press that i ran back in the 70's
How much? And where can I get one?
Great product but almost invisible on the internet. I'm a happy owner making the rounds of SB videos looking for useful content and now I see why so I drop comments in hope an all-American company fixes their extremely low visibility to sell far more compressors. Why leave money on the table? Search "5HP air compressors" in your choice of search engine. What do you see? My decades-old used Saylor-Bealls already outlived one successful business before I bought them for a song, and they went cheap because the other bidders didn't know about your products either. Their quality was obvious so I snagged them. Potential customers should note SB sell parts though you aren't likely to need them and unlike other companies wearing the skinsuits of once-great names SB aren't flogging offshore crap under "badge engineering". If you're in the market for a compressor you want one. If you're not able to swing the cash for a new one they do turn up used and parts are available from the factory. www.saylor-beall.com/wp-content/uploads/Part-Prices-Nov-1-2021-final.pdf www.saylor-beall.com/wp-content/uploads/700SeriesManual.pdf
You really need better video titles and production! You may not need to hire a (proven, industry-specific) SEO consultant (or maybe you do, but this stuff is easy to pick up by watching engaging videos) and I am not one. I just bought two of your compressors (many decades old and which need nothing since the owner properly changed oil and replaced air filters) and being impressed I looked for videos. Your customers are mostly technical people and your offerings are while more expensive than offshore crap well within the reach of many people who never heard of Saylor-Beall. Your company is leaving money on the table which annoys me as an American who wants our businesses to succeed! Most viewers won't mention this and your titles and descriptions neglect TH-cam algos so there aren't many viewers in the first place. You can do videos for peanuts. Cover installation including common installer errors. Cover basic maintenance. Cover installing overhaul kits because being able to make quick field repairs is a wonderful feature. Consider why this happy owner impressed by SB design is surprised by lack of modern marketing. Want a shock? Type "5HP air compressors" into a search engine then wonder where the hell are the Saylor-Bealls. Why is your company almost invisible on the internet?
You'd get many more views with AIR COMPRESSOR in the title plus some descriptive verbiage. I want you to stay in business in case I need parts but odds are that won't happen. I have two ancient 5HPs I just bought and wouldn't hesitate to buy a new one.
How about some SEO (search engine optimization) like mentioning AIR COMPRESSORS in the title! I just bought two used 5 HP compressors one of which has been in service for FORTY YEARS at a metal plating shop. Great quality and I'll be looking for more and larger.
How does one acquire one of those awesome Saylor Beall shirts? I'd gladly pimp your brand.
Build America. Saylor Beall. Watching this video in 2023. One of the last, if not the last, company of its kind left in the USA, for compressors. They haven't sold out, shipped their jobs or manufacturing overseas, or been gobbled up by foreign ownership. They make the best quality American-made product you can buy - that will last your life time.
I'm impressed by the ancient used pair I just bought despite never hearing about Saylor-Beall. When I went surfing for info I see why because their marketing sucks as much as their compressors are good. Many businesses and prosumers could afford their piston offerings but buy offshore crap because they don't know better. I've hunted used American compressors since it was not obvious what is good. I'm very internet-savvy, Linux user since 1999 and mechanic/technician since the 1970s but never heard of SB.
Wow really silent
I have this on my Saylor-beall..awsome..if you live in a hot year round state..as I do..down south
Anest iwata very good air pump👍
It looks like there is too much oil in the compressor !
Love my Saylor-beall..the best.units made in the USA..
Doesn’t sound all that loud for such a big unit
Is it 20 cfm? According to the website it’s 16.2 @175.
I will own one someday. Classic USA manufacturer. 👍👍
I need price
I'm getting one in 2022..my bucket list..5hp..pressure lube..705..I'm old school and sick of big box store junk...worth the doe..old school iron..my dad had a soft spot for this brand ..he had an older one back in the 1970s..in this shop..
Update. I own a saylor-beall. As of May 2022. The quietist compressor I ever owned..my wife bought it for me money well spent for my hobby shop..it doesn't bother my nabbors..in the evening..even with the TV on ..on the wall .got the prorformace PKG..60 gal..it runs my inground lift. And a few air tools..C.P. brand if u want the best..this is it..made in America.
I wonder if you guys can't build me a 40 gal 5 hp.single pH 230 v full PKG..unit I have a tight space..small shop..I would rather get American iron..not home stores stuff ..pls let me know..who to talk too at your company..ty...great product...worth the doe..my dad had a 1959 sailor beull..120 gal 5hp.unit got a new pump in 1979..and a motor...as well..it still was going till he retired in 1999..it served us well..and we did all maintenance required..every 3 mounths it seemed oil changes..in his service station....I have a small home shop with a inground lift..30 or 40 gal tank is all I need ..home Depot stuff go,s bad after 2 yrs it seems for my car collection..
Nice iron.. American made.. thats awesome..I'm going to order one for my home garage..a 5 hp.unit..with an aftercooler, and a auto tank drain...I live in fl...it's worth the extra for..for American made ...it's funny my dad had one from the late 1950 s in his service station..
Im a proud owner of of saylor VT-735 80 I love my compressor and its built so dang good it loves me back!! #SaylorBeallisKing
I love me some American tech and thats a thing of beauty #SaylorBeallisKing
Great compressors but they fail all the time just like junkie dewalts and quincy compressors some of its management but luck also if they hold up or not they just simply cant convince me that the good ole USA builds the best compressor when i have had china compressors last 20 years and some last 6 months its luck i swear it
Saylor-Beall makes the best air compressor period both my brothers has the 5hp over 20years never had a single problem my work even has one it's over 10years old!
Sorry reed valves vs disc don’t even compare. Reverse engineerd pumps still aren’t as good. Keep buying big box junk, and having another American out of job! 0:35 0:35 0:35
Hm
What is the hour rating of the unit Sir ???
Price kya hai sir
ADRAS
the basic casting of the pump looks like the original from the 50s. Guess they do build them like they used to.

nice. i own a Saylor-Beall 120 gallon(maybe larger) upright from 1968. it's a monster and has never been rebuillt, still runs great. its a very quiet compressor too. i hate those noisy oil-free compressors that burn up in two years
Hello🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
WOW this is pretty cool company that i'm going to have to support
Shipping something out 5 miles north of the SB plant, driver opened the doors on the truck, all kinds of SB compressors inside the truck. We both just stood there and ogled the fantastic iron.
That low sound makes me happy..slow rpm
10 HP Kitna thousand paisa Hota Hai ok
Best air compressors money can buy. American made by Americans unlike IR .
Great video. That Mazak machine looks like a beast. My VT-735-60 is on order and probably being built as I type. I'll take great pride in owning such an fine piece of American craftmanship. Keep up the good work.
Nice
Nice i have old one
I really want to buy a 7.5 with 707 pump!
Glad to help you! We are an Authorized Distributor. www.automotiveshopequipment.com/pages/Saylor/default.htm
Me too!
I bought my model 9000 from a surplus dealer in Euclid, Ohio and hauled it all the way to Mobile, Alabama . Paid $1,299 for the 200 gallon compressor and it was in excellent condition. Best deal I’ve ever had ! I love that compressor.
A compressor kitne me milega
I acquired one of these old compressors. Very nice set up. But mine says it’s an “American Air Compressor Company “ but looks identical to this. Do I have a clone??
