This Channel is a place I post videos from various places I have ridden on my 2013 Harley Street Glide, 1993 Harley Sportster 883 Deluxe or 1991 Dyna Glide Sturgis. I occasionally create videos of test rides on new bikes and maybe even motorcycle product reviews. I am slowly gaining some editing skills and hope to be creating interesting video content that is a pleasure for others to watch. Thank you for tuning in. Please subscribe and leave a comment on how you thought the video was.

It was a beautiful September night at about 85 degrees outside. Last minute opportunity to ride so I had to make the run to Milwaukee for a Thursday night bike night. Traffic can always be a bear but I made it.

The Driftless area is a fantastic area to enjoy motorcycle riding with numerous windy roads and hilly terrain. In this v...

Harley Davidson Speed Check.

While editing videos of various 2024 Model year Harley Davidsons Demo rides, I notice they were very close in performance. So I did a video comparison. This is to simulate an average Hwy on ramp acceleration of 25 mph to 70 mph. I was surprised to see just how close the Road Glide ST, Nightster, Pan America, and the Sportster S are in performance when it comes to straight line acceleration from...

Thanks you to "Barney" who is one of our Rock River HOG Chapter Members for working out the details with the New Berlin Police Dept and the Regency Senior Center to make this event happen. Nice little video. I lived over in the Fox Valley through the late 80's and this brings me back to those rides. Loved the smell of the fall leaves. I'm on the West Coast now
@@53Peterbilt Fall riding is always a great time. But I’ll be wishing for some of that West coast weather about Jan/Feb. Thanks for watching!
Nice video!! New subscriber! I missed bike night last week…next year!
Want to sell that Sturgis? IT appears I don't live far from you.
@@Greenjeans2020 Thanks for the interest in the Sturgis. Im enjoying the bike for now but maybe someday for the right price I may let it go. It is such a cool bike.
Awesome video Dan!
Nice job!
All about your comfort but looks like your mirrors are now useless and the hand swells of your fairing no longer protect your hands at all. Was it really forward progress?😅
@@LHawk-l8f I just put 600 miles on this weekend and couldn’t be happier. No neck pain at all. I did remove the fairing mirrors and installed bar mounted mirrors on which turns out to be even better than the fairing mounted mirrors ever were. As far as my hands back out in the wind, I’m ok with that. I’ve been riding for 30+ years and it’s never bothered me before. I usually wear gloves anyway. So yah I’d say I made forward progress. Thanks for watching!
@@Badgerbiker Roger that! Kinda takes all the fun outta it when your neck starts hurting at two hundred miles into a five hundred mile day 😅. Been there done that. Happy trails and keep the faith ✌️
I thinking about taking off from here in Kentucky to Colorado on my 2016 Heritage Softail. I’ve never been further than Smokey mountains on a bike before. And that’s only 250 miles away 😂. So I dunno how it would go. Been riding off and on for 20 years but just never took any long trips. I suck at planning things so all I know to do is just pack a bag and take off and go. I got the money and I got the time….i just can’t seem to make myself get started
@@JohnnyRebKy I am a believer in the only plan you need is to put your butt on the seat. I literally reserved this bike and got the airline ticket 18 hrs before I was on this bike and riding in Colorado. Once I got on the bike I headed for the closest, coolest destination I thought was near me which was Pikes Peak. I started looking for a place to stay when I was eating supper. It was like that all 4 days I rode in Colorado. BEST ride I have done so far! Get on and ride you won’t regret it!
@@Badgerbiker well it’s a 1200 mile ride for me just to get to Denver or so. Having had 5 back surgeries in my life already I’m not sure how well I can handle that. That’s what worries me. Long long way from home to have trouble. It’s not the bike that worries me. It’s capable. It’s ME I worry about lol
@@JohnnyRebKy I hear yah. Well I recommend you checkout Eagle rider in Denver. I used the “Denver Airport” Eagle rider which is not really near the airport. I landed at Denver and “Lyft” for a ride to the Eagle rider. Signed a few papers and in about 15 minutes I was strapping my bag to the Heritage. It cost me $170/day unlimited miles. Not sure what it cost now but they have many bikes to choose from including some non Harley brands. Very easy people to work with and Uber or Lyft is also easy to sign up with. I hope you find a way to do a good trip.
Nice buddy good video, I have a question about your bike can you please tell me how he handle twisties.
@@sejttan I thought it did very well. I’ve heard some people complain about the Heritage lack of lean angle and scraping floorboards everywhere but I found it to be just plenty capable of sharp switch backs without any dragging of the boards. The bike has a very low center of gravity that makes it very easy to maneuver even loaded up with gear and at low speeds. Handling wise I’d give it 5 stars!
A fantastic area to ride, I tell everyone I know to head there..
Good job Badger.
When the hd truck came to ukes I rode the heritage. I definitely know what my next bike will be. I think it's the best all around bike harley makes and is very underrated.
@@ronbuccelli8486 I also think the Heritage is a great bike. I spent 4 days on one in Colorado with 1100 miles in the Rockies. Great bike for touring.
What a cool, laid-back person. Greetings from Europe!
demo ride on straight line !!!! so funny... Any real biker there ???????
@@fxdx68 Lol. I thought the same thing. Harley Davidson sets the route and if you stray from it they will kick you off the test rides. They keep track of you by the order you leave and return by electronically scanning a bar code on the bike as you leave and return to the demo location. I seen two people asked to leave because they took a different route. Sorry the video disappointed you. Well not really. lol.
@@Badgerbiker shame, it is dificult to repport any feeling about the bike under these conditions...... Could be any bike, what dif between a HD and a Kawa at 55mph on a straight line?
The reason I got my street glide was to ride it in beautiful Colorado 😊
@@alexquevedo831 Colorado is such a great state to see on two wheels. Enjoy that Street Glide. I enjoy my 2013 Street Glide. 35k miles on it so far and no issues. Thanks for watching!
Please don't try to make a chopper out of an Evo Sportster. It's kind of like putting a rear wing on a Toyota Corolla - it will never be cool & you will end up ruining it.
@@kurtfoulke5130 lol. I hear yah. If I did anything to it, it would most likely be dirt track inspired. I have no interest in a hard tail simply because these Wisconsin road + a hard tail = a broken back. Lol
Good for you guys. That was very nice to take seniors for a ride. 👍
which country is this ???
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. United States of America.

Nice job with the video. Kudos for the different viewing angles.
I grew up in Wisconsin, but left a long time ago. Watching your videos is like a tip toe down memory lane. And, I don't hear that Wisconsin accent unless talking to my brother, who still lives there. Enjoyed the video, will watch your others.
Nice vid Danno!
Thanks for sharing, I'm in pleasant prairie always looking for a new ride to food and pizza is my favorite!
For the sake of curiosity. Is it legal to ride without helmet on every state in the US or just in some places? Btw, great videos of the trip and awesome bike!
Thank you. Every state has its own helmet laws and the details of the law can vary. Here in Wisconsin you are required to wear a helmet if you are riding with a learners permit and not yet fully licensed as a motorcycle driver or you are under 18 yrs old. If you are licensed motorcycle rider and above 18 years old, wearing a helmet is your choice. Some states every rider no matter age or experience is required to wear a helmet. Thanks for watching!!
@@Badgerbiker Thank you for the detailed explanation! Looking to buy HD Heritage too. Love to take the road

Nice little Autumn ride on a pumpkin. You had me going with the joke right to the end. Thanks
Nice ride and colors. We went over in the driftless area last weekend. Gorgeous over there too. Guess we better head to the holy hill area soon. Is there a way to get a copy of your email with the state stats?
Beautiful fall colors there. It is Autumn here in the UK too. Had a near miss this summer gone. Lady car driver pulled out of a junction nearly hitting me but stopped in time with a shocked expression on her face. I could see she was distracted with kids in the back and looking at something in the front too, maybe a mobile phone. I gave her my meanest glare but soon felt bad for doing so, she looked stressed. Thanks
We rode it for the first time this year. It certainly was a great day and ride.
Thanks for taking me to the Slimey Crud Run. I haven't gone for a number of years and have really been wanting to get back. Hopefully I'll make it in the spring. I live in Beloit. Where are you located?
I live halfway between Milwaukee and Madison, near Watertown. The spring crud run is usually colder but still a good turnout. Enjoy the ride if you go. Thanks for watching!!
Nice ride. Great weather we are having at the moment here in the UK and there it seems. Thanks.
Is it any easier to handle than the street Bob. Just demoed a new one and didn’t like it at all. To heavy and unruly. Engine didn’t sound feel like a Harley.
The heavy feeling is mostly due to the fat front tire. It would take a little more grunt to slice through the corners which a rider would get used to. As for the sound, well the M8 in my opinion HAS lost some of the Harley “potato” sound but that can be brought back with a little cam upgrade. The M8 is a much smoother feeling engine as well and can be easily turned into a monster torque engine with some simple upgrades which in my opinion is far superior than what you get from a Twin Cam after some major upgrades. The M8 was definitely a nice step in the right direction for Harley.
@@BadgerbikerThanks for the info.
@@Badgerbiker P.S. Also, the bike just felt heavy at a stand still and going slow around corners it felt like it would tip over.
@@dry509 practice practice practice....still working on it myself
Thank you Hoss!!! Exactly what I needed. great video.
You tried out a street bob 114 yet?
I haven’t however I’m not a big fan of the Street Bob look. Something about the fuel tank looks a little off to me. Or maybe it’s the Mini Ape looking bars. Something just seems odd. But I’ll have to give it a ride the next chance I get.
