How are the crabs doing now? I recently got some and I wonder how big they get.

Can i add wild isopods into my coco coir? If so, do i still have to clean the substrate? Also, how do i move baby snails into a bigger tank without hurting them? Thanks! 😊 also how do u clean coco coir?

You should try breeding grasshoppers, You'll need a bigger tank for this and a water bowl filled with dirt so they can lay their eggs and a lot of fake plants for You can put down vegetables and fruit for them to eat That way you will always have some grasshoppers whether it's winter or summer😊

I decided to keep a grasshopper that we were gonna preserve for our bio project- you're so right on the dirt thing, my grasshopper spent most of the time on the ceiling of the enclosure before I put in dirt- now it's happy (i hope) and it likes to hang out in its enclosure!!

You should actually do 2-3 inches and a 5 gallon terrarium at the least and no rocks

I guess it depends where you live. I’m in central QLD and found that my Krabooz tank humidity is as too HIGH and struggle to minimise it with only one vent. Definitely too shallow though. I’ll be looking into an Exoterra.

My chickens are carnivores except one but my brother been chasing like crazy now he has no trust of anyone he just runs away one time he fell in the trash i picked him up and then he started playing dead

Nice video thanks for sharing. I have some differences of experience with water pools, I've found that its quite important and healthy for them to be able to fully submerge in water dishes and have been able to achieve this using "ladders" to safely enter and exit. Gutter guard from bunnings is a great cheap and easy to use option, inexpensive.purchase for a life time of crab uses. Another bonus of going deep for the crabs is that you can add bubblers and filters aerating the water so they can breathe down there, so cool to watch them go for a swim, plus you dont need to do water changes as often. I would variably mention that a smaller tank is okay if it can meet the substrate needs for the amount of crabs in it at their current size and short term predicated size. This however will mean that you'll need to upgrade tanks at some point as the crabs grow. This method has cons such as needing to purchase a new tank and heater, smaller crabs generally grow faster so you'll need to upgrade for a larger adult size tank sooner rather than later, you cannot dig up crabs during a moulting process therefore you will need to have space to setup both your old and new tanks for potentially 6months or more waiting for the crabs to come up so that you can transfer them, this last point also means you will have twice the power consumption twice the water maintaince and twice the feeding to do while they do their thing the best way they can. It is possible however not for everyone and something to consider before buying.

hey i recomnd to wear gloves if you trasfer grass hoppers into places, sometimes they bit if they feel threatend\ if you live in arizona, i recomed getting yellow grass for bedding and feeding them green grass

is it ok to feed them without calcium and dusting, cuz I just put any bugs in their than I can find around the house I don't have proof they ate them but it did disappear everytime after I came back home after school and I think they did cuz they still poo since I caught them in my house anyway they're fine with my house temperature and the wild bugs in my house but is it really necessary
