Fitzroy River College of Arms is a HEMA school in Rockhampton, Queensland. We have predominantly studied British military and civilian fencing systems but have begun branching out into Italian styles as well.

I've never seen someone just let their off hand flop around while fencing. Is this from a particular system or just personal preference? Great fencing from the both of you!
ive seen a few people do it. I'd guess it might be to keep the hand available to grab the sword if they get a chance but to still keep it kinda out of the way
