ΦNIX | Electric flight from Sweden to Norway

We made the first electric flight over the border in winter conditions. From Sveg in Sweden to Roros in Norway. Total distnace 219 km (136 miles) and energy consumption 31 kWh. Headwind from 20 to 40 km/h (from 12,5 mi/h to 25 mi/h). At the second airport, a low-temperature charging test was conducted where about 15 % of the battery capacity was recharged. ????Wonderful motor glider... I am interested... Especially in the hydrogen fuel-cell powered one. This there any way to add more batteries to achieve more endurance of for the two and a half hour posted endurance time. Is it possible to use the empty passenger seat to put in an extra battery pack to achieve greater endurance seen probably most people fly solo even though it's a two-seater... Or at least that would be my case. Great job... Great Plane... Thank you.
Hello Rod, Thank you! Hydrogen version of this airplane is already in development and it should increase the endurance. And yes you are right, technicly it is possible to use extra battery pack instead of passenger seat.

impressive :) what sort of charging facility is available, just the standard 2kW wall socket? and is there plan to make this aerobatic :D
Thank you 😊 we have three types of chargers. On board charger, which can charge your airplane from normal socket. Fast charger, designed for use at airports with power 10-20 kW. Last one is supercharger, which can charge your airplane to 80% of capacity just in 20 minutes. 😊 Aerobatic version is not planned yet. Total flight time (including takeoffs and landings) was 2 hours plus reserve.

Hi! Consumption in economy horizontal flight is 10 kW
Impressive, this is less than a electric car !!! How much km can you travel with such configuration ?
Range is 400 km +safety margin (248 mi) but when you will be gliding and using thermal column then range can be 2 times more - about 800 km (497 mi)🛩
