Cancellation of Passenger Reservation System (PRS)/ Counter Ticket through 139 messaging and IVR (Interactive Voice Response) has been inaugurated by Hon'ble MR Shri Suresh Prabhu. On the line of same, Booking on www.irctc.co.in for international tourist using international debit or credit card through ATOM payment gateway has been also inaugurated.

सर आप खानपान सेवा के लिए प्रीपेड सर्विस की शुरुआत क्यों नहीं करते। जैसे राजधानी और शताब्दी ट्रेनों में होता है। टिकट की बुकिंग के समय पैसेंजर को यह सुविधा उपलब्ध रहेगी अगर वह खाना बुक करना चाहता है तो काउंटर पर ही बुक कर लें। इससे भेंडर द्वारा अधिक चार्ज वसूले जाने की संभावना खत्म हो जाएगी।

I tried it many times ...or mujhe room 24 hours k liye chahiye but system mujhe 36 hours k liye provide karri Hai or jyada Paisa demand karri Hai...mujhe Bhopal dormitory book karni Hai 6 April ki subha 7 bje se and 7 th April ko subha 5 bje time out karni hai

Guide me on e cattering
Indeed a great initiative by IRCTC. Among the trusted food partners of IRCTC, I believe one should look for food vendors who are offering multiple choices and wider options to the ones who are looking to order food of their choice in train. I found one e-catering partner named Railrestro who had maximum food options at Kanpur. They were good on food quality and also followed up well on the food delivery. I also found that they have their own website as www.railrestro.com. They offer better discounts as well and always have some complimentary offers for their loyal customers. Overall this initiative was a good decision for all of us.
