@@lagotto_gota Yeah we're planning it now, seeing when it would make sense and everything. It's tricky to get it all planned with nests and work, but hopefully somewhere in March next year. We just really like lagotti :)

@@lagotto_gota Sometimes Gus will just "stare" at me. If I ask him a question, then he will sit, as if to say, "yes", but who knows if my guess is correct or not .🤭

@@lagotto_gota I agree! As Gus, my husband and I got to know each other better, we realized he was much more sensitive to our emotions than other dogs we've owned. If my husband was struggling with something, Gus would bark at him. A couple of times, Gus would lick my husband's cheek (Gus doesn't lick our faces). He has almost become an emotional support dog of sorts. He has a special connection with my husband. However, he treats me the same.

@@lindamikeworth4401 That is so nice! I would love if Gota is too, but she is not. She doesn’t seem to care about our emotions or our health 🙈🙈I had a German Shepherd and she was so sensitive to everything happening to us, but Gota unfortunately isn’t 🙈

Congratulations on your puppy! 😍🥰That is really hard to say. Gota is a really tiny lagotto and now weights 11.3 kg. I think a dog with a carrier has to be below 8kg, so I would say a dog should not be heavier than 7kg. Gota was 7kg when she was about 4 months old. But if your dog is bigger, he could get bigger faster.

@@lagotto_gota Gus is 40 pounds, white with chocolate spots. His face, which is chocolate is lightening up in the face. He is always up to eating and enjoys playing with knuckle bones after he has chewed the meat off. We love him♡

I’m so glad you had such a great experience. Lilly sounds so sweet 🥰. I think Italy is a great place to travel with your dog. As far as I hear, it is probably the most dog friendly country in Europe. My Gota does bark and can be reactive so it is not so simple to take her everywhere but even for dog like Gota Italy is so much better than Croatia where we live.

She is not a doodle. She is an old breed called Lagotto Romagnolo, older breed than German Shepherd.

@@lagotto_gota pretty rare breed. By just the face looks a doidle or the many variations of the poo dogs..cockapoo there are so many..even the shitz-pooh..🙄

@@lagotto_gota well at least your dog is an intelligent breed I cannot stand these designer Cock-A-Doodle poo breeds. Breeding dogs to be lap dogs with no purpose at all and no intelligence is abuse. Thanks for educating me I thought I pretty much knew all dog breeds but I have never seen this one

@@tigertalks1567indeed this is an ancient breed that was depicted in paintings of Late Middle Ages and early Renaissance. It was later used as water fowl retriever and nowadays for truffle hunting. However, it’s not a one person dog, so it doesn’t make a good guard dog (it’s the same for the other water dogs) 🤷🏻‍♂️
