I am so sorry you and your family are going through this difficult period. I grew up in Connecticut so I know how it is here. My own Father has been in and out of the hospital and has gotten good care at Griffin Hospital in Derby. It's one of the best hospitals in the United States. Perhaps you can see if your husband's Dad can be taken there if needed.

I think you should get with the state attorney and or the governor and make them known of all this. AND then get out of Connecticut. Sell everything and leave that state behind.

They give them meth then unleash hem on people. I have had to be around meth addicts my whole teen and adult life. These cops act just like one. It gives them a feeling of power and when they are tweaking and wanting more they are violent and unreasonable just like these cops !

I was illegally arrested in Round Rock TX in 2022. They were so aggressive and violent. I had to beg not to be hurt that I would comply. They startled me and surrounded my car. I was taken to jail, striped searched, forced to listen to a loud weird movie while waiting my charges . The breakfast they served my dog wouldn't have eaten. It looked like moldy grits and a grayish looking piece of bologna . It was all about trying to charge me with a felony fir money. When I told them I would go to jail rather than give them $1600 they changed their minds and didn't charge me . I had to put my clothes back on in a room with feces on the floor. Its bad. We are a targeted family since at least the 1950s. They are going after certain bloodlines. I believe 100% this is a genocide plan . I am only 6% Ethiopian. My theory is that they are after that bloodline ❤️

Yet again, thank you for sharing yalls story. It's sooooo good that yall have recorded each of these processes. Keep recording EVERYTHING!! It's so much stuff here that I'm not sure if yall can use but if you haven't written a statement yet I def would recommend you as a witness to write one as evidence to challenge the police, the hospital and the state of Connecticut. The Google maps hold your locations with time stamps of the arrival and how long yall were at the police station on day one. God knows I wish yall had that recording once yall arrived. I'm not sure if it's a thing, but I definitely would threaten the attorney that he would be sued or replaced if he doesn't use the information we are requesting that he challenge in court. It is the courts job and the defendant to prove that the plaintiff is guilty, and if they fail to prove evidence and within a timely manner, yall can request that charges be dropped. I live in lake Havasu Arizona and when you get arrested they send you to Kingman jail which is an hour away from here not only do they take you to another town but once you go up there do your time and get out they do not give you a ride back you have to figure that out yourself which a lot of people end up walking nuts crazy in the heat but when I was in jail they charged me $20 for two aspirin my thing is who the hell makes these rules or laws or legislators make these prices and bail or court cost it's dam near tuition college money

A lot could’ve been avoided if your husband would’ve asked the nurse, or even his parents whom I assume can speak, why his father is strapped. People are strapped for various reasons in the hospital, especially when they fear self-harm. Your husband was wrong, nurses have a job to do too. The security guard is also someone who obviously has an inflated ego and your husband’s gear probably triggered his jealousy. It’s unfortunate that we’re now here.

They had no right to search the vehicle. You did yourself no favors by talking to them. The reason why they kept pursuing the mental stuff is so they can jam him on more charges ( section 46b-120) specifically “persons voluntarily admitted on or after October 1, 2013 are ineligible to receive a state pistol permit”. Your furtherance of answering more questions doing their fishing expedition did more harm than you know. Your best avenue is to talk to GOA (gun owners of America) and also talk your husbands defense attorney.

H3ll, contact the hospital via email with a sent and read receipt and tell them that you're putting them on notice to not tamper or spoil their surveillance footage. They will say their footage was looped over but if you remind them to not allow this, it may be beneficial to you. Glad you got at least the audio. What I know is, every police station is provided annual trainings AND exams on deescalation. If they came in hot with 🔫 drawn, THAT isn't deescalation! How would any reasonable person expect to have a decent conversation after something like that. My only responses would have been, I didn't do anything, what are you detaining or arresting me for, what proof do you have, i am invoking my 5th amendment rights because I didn't do anything.

I can guarantee when you or your husband have an encounter with the next policeman that you would know how to act better

Not sure of the story but if you feel violated, contact Long Island Audit, Lack Luster, Indisputable with Dr.Rashad Richey, and look up other platforms that could possibly help. Another thing is, obtain names and badge numbers but stop talking so much and invoke your 5th amendment rights. Also, get a notepad and look up contingency based attorneys. If he was in the home, he never needed to come out without a warrant and you guys really shouldn't have talked that much. They're arresting him AFTER he left and went home...🤔 The ONLY questions I would have asked is what evidence do you have and what crime has he supposedly committed. If it were me, that nurse would have most definitely been recorded, especially, what transpired after the allegations were made against me. Start also looking up any lawsuits that they may have had as well. Not sure if they are a two party consent state or if the hospital is public but if public and if they're recording, record ALL phone calls with them and most definitely, it is ALWAYS legal to record all calls with the police. File complaints against the hospital and police department (officers) immediately and be very careful what you write and what you post or tell people. Ask for government tort claim forms because IF you sue, those must be filed but if you dont know what to put on them....get an attorney! In the meantime, go to public meetings! Not sure right now what else i can say to try and help.
