Independence Day at Attari-Wagah Border, Amritsar: ❤️🇮🇳 Heartfelt Patriotism, ☀️🥵 Unbearable Heat!
Join us as we take you through our unforgettable journey to the iconic Attari-Wagah Border on Independence Day! 🇮🇳 The air was filled with excitement and pride as we arrived, eager to witness the famous flag-lowering ceremony and be part of the patriotic celebrations.
The atmosphere was electric with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and the sight of the Indian and Pakistani flags flying high. We were filled with a sense of unity and love for our country as we took our seats among hundreds of fellow patriots. However, the summer heat was absolutely relentless! 🥵 With temperatures soaring and the sun beating down on us, it quickly became clear that the weather would be a bigger challenge than expected.
Despite our best efforts to stay hydrated and enjoy the event, the extreme heat became too much, forcing us to leave the border early and return to our hotel. Even though we couldn’t stay for the entire event, the experience left us with lasting memories of patriotism and pride.

You may follow this route that should meet your requirements by keeping you on national highways and avoiding village roads and Ambala: 1. Delhi to Sonipat (via NH44). 2. Sonipat to Jind to Narwana (via NH352). 3. Narwana to Sangrur to Barnala (via NH52). 4. Barnala to Moga (via NH703). 5. Moga to Harike to Tarn Taran (via NH54). 6. Tarn Taran to Amritsar.
