How does Bistineau differ from Caddo?
There are some similarities but more water flows through Caddo and there is more open water areas which helps to mitigate the Salvinia problem to some extent. Also, bistineau has very little cover other than cypress trees. Caddo actually has lily pads and grass matts especially on the west end.

I've got the Thor LT.. got it used from a co-worker for short money.. good for maybe a 50 yard shot.. but like u said, those thermals get expensive QUICK!!
