How do you make patterns?
Hello! I'm sure there are different ways of doing it but I cut out what I think is the right size and sew them together and try them on a 1:12th scale doll. A lot of adjustments are made and once it fits right I take the clothes apart and I'm left with a pattern to draw out the correct size. It takes me quite a long time but I get there in the end :-) xx

@@thedollhousetailor I've been trying to figure out sleeves, like for a long sleeve shirt or jacket, so far I've been unsuccessful, lol. I'm liking using thin knit fabric for pullovers so anything that works with that kind of material would be excellent.... like the stretch dress pattern. Thx!
@@brittfox9038 No problem, I have a couple of jacket patterns coming soon, but I could make a stretch jumper dress with long sleeves. That's given me a some ideas 😀I'll have a little think and see what else I can come up with xx
