Why no one talks about Frasier being injured n not coming back ,that and McMahons injury ended the bears reign! They were still great but Frasiers position was dominant and that loss was never replaced equally or close and same as McMahon 87 88 89 could have been possible championship seasons but within those 2 positions they failed to as good and never repeated Those 2 players were the difference You could keep them n lose singeltary or dent,Payton or McKinnon and youd still lose.... It's a team but there are a few players that would make that difference in great and the best!

40 years, and still waiting for another Super Bowl victory. There’s only 32 teams in the nfl, right. Which means that if the super bowl were a random winner, the bears should have had another by now 😭

Chicagoan, and I love the 85 Bears, but this was one of the worst Super Bowl recaps by NFL Films in the 80s. The music wasn’t very good, and particularly having the players talking was a mistake. Even the narrator wasn’t as good.

This Bears team was special to me because it had smart, solid guys up and down the roster who didn't make mistakes. They had superstars, yes, particularly Urlacher and Hester, but the rest of team was full of smart, consistent players who may not have been stars but who didn't make mistakes. Kreutz, Jones, Des Clark, Alex Brown, Ogunleye, Briggs, Peanut Tillman, Ricky Manning, and ROBBIE GOULD. Yes, the kicker was a LARGE part of the team's success that year. Had Mike Brown and Tommie Harris not gotten injured, they would have been the second coming of the 85 Bears.

I always loved it when Lovie tried to be fired up. It was so not in his nature, lol.

It always surprised me that the media never created a Black-Sox-Scandal Curse / Shoeless-Joe-Jackson-Curse for the WSOX. I mean, we all knew about the Black Sox Scandal but it was never attached to the WSOX drought like the trade of Babe Ruth-RSOX-Yankees Bambino Curse, or the Cubs Goat Curse, or the City of Cleveland curse. The media/fans never hyped up the WSOX drought with anything extra to it. Obviously, RSOX broke their Bambino curse in 2004 City of Cleveland broke their curse in June 2016, when Lebron won a title with the Cavaliers after being down 3-1. Ironically, the Indians in October 2016 almost won a title after being up 3-1 on the Cubs (ironically). Cubs broke their Goat curse in 2016 (against Cleveland)

Indeed this was a great season with a very painful ending unfortunately!!!!!! If Cutler Bears had the 06 o line we would’ve definitely won a few championships. We should of stuck with what got us there in the championship game a heavy dose of Thomas Jones sprinkled with a lil Benson and then hit them with Rex play action. The Bears game plan had Rex out there throwing the ball like he was Manning.

One day soon... the Bears will be champs again.
