Just giving my POV here* In the movie, they were that bad, though. They held Heather M down in the cow pasture instead of Veronica, who left with JD. JD doesn't kill people because it's fun. He kills them because he thinks it's justified. That's the point. Heather was a bully who was mad at Veronica because she wanted to avoid getting SA'd at a college party and asked Heather to take her home. JD believes he can kill all the bad people to make their school better, and when that doesn't work, he thinks they can only all get along in heaven and decides to blow up the entire school. He isn't a stable person, but we do somewhat understand why he'd want to kill Heather, Kirt, and Ram. Also, just because they're not saying it outright in the song blue doesn't mean they weren't making the same advances. Being drunk when they are sexually harassing someone doesn't justify their actions.

@@katsmaddworld9907 I do think my comment may sounded like they’re actions are Justifiable. But they are still stupid jackasses. What I personally find the most interesting in both Heathers musicals, is the 2 very different with Kurt and Ram The off Broadway production, yes they were drunk and creepy jackasses but they never got physically violent with Veronica or Macenera (besides hugging Macenras leg.) But in the West End production. They took the same interpretation in the movie. They were very violent and physical with both, they knew what they were doing. Which makes the murder more justifiable. In my opinion, I do prefer the Off Broadway interpretation. Because It makes J.D into a more threatening villain. In the terms of Veronica and the audiences perspective. (and also the fact that I have a headcanon that Kurt is actually gay 💀)

I prefer Blue because it fits better with the genre, dark humor. In Your Welcome it's being taken very serious. *I am not saying date rape should be taken as a joke* I'm saying the genre of Heathers is to take serious sh¡t like a joke. Blue fits better with the genre. Not to mention Evan and Jon's vocals SLAP SO HARD. But I understand why you prefer Your Welcome.

​@Cya_Synchr0 True. But while the musical and the movie joke about it. The punchline isn't the person who does it, but how people responded to the fake suicide. In the movie people lied about Heather and made her out to be a better person simply because she "died of suicide" Martha and Heather macamera are ignored and even bullied for surviving a suicide. It's only taken seriously by society if they actually die. Or if they're popular. They don't joke about the two girls who actually attempted, the bullies do, but the writers and mc's dont. That's when they take the issue seriously. At least Veronica does. The movie doesn't take ram and kirt seriously at all, mostly because Veronica leaves before anything happens to her, but Heather was actually assaulted and people believed what they said about Veronica. Which is a serious issue that happens all the time. My opinion, it should be taken seriously, the characters are still goofy but they're also rapests and bullies. I'm glad they chose to take the scene more seriously. Because guys who do that think they're funny, but they're really not, they're dangerous. Also, Jd's actions are supposed to sound justified. He thinks if he kills all the bad people he can make life better for everyone else. He's wrong for killing Heather, but he thinks it's justified. Kirt and ram is a bit more complicated which opens up more discussions about his Pov and Veronicas. (This is just my opinion on it. )

Yes, Blue is meant to taken more funny because the genre of the musical is fark humor. But since everyone were complaining how such a dark topic was being taken as a joke (even though that's the point of dark humor) they made Your Welcome so it's taken more seriously.

It doesn't represent rape well because the genre of the musical is Dark Humor, dark sh¡t will be taken as a joke, take Heather's (Duke) eating disorder as an example. They had to take out Blue because a bunch of idiots hated how they took something so dark as a joke, when that's literary the genre.

In summary, blue superior, because you're welcome It has a very murky touch and the truth is that it does not use black humor, and in blue black humor is very well applied

Blue is better for the genre of the musical. It's a dark humor so Blue is meant to be taken funny. You're Welcome isn't fitting for the genre, it is a good song though
