I somehow managed to find a youtube channel run by someone else who's both a xenoblade and a nichijou fan. You have good taste.

imagine if Bilbo stalked Frodo and Sam the whole time instead of Gollum. or if Gollum was followed by Bilbo so it would be like a hobbit train going through Middle-Earth

Elijah Wood seriously doesn’t get enough credit for his performance in that trilogy. He’s SO GOOD at showing how manipulative the One Ring is. The Ring has a will of it’s own, and Elijah Wood does a phenomenal job portraying how Frodo was slowly losing his sanity and physical strength as the journey went on!

Adam Howden is an absolute fucking beast, and puts everyone else in the business to shame.

This really does put into perspective how bad the voice direction of that scream was. Especially considering that it was reused 2 more times afterward.

Rex could be my favorite protagonist if he just had a better voice! The other 2 have british accents, give him one!

I mean they really could have just retook the scream or at least not used the same scream like 5 times in the same cutscene. More variety would have at least made the scream less of a problem.

Honestly it was only moments where he need to raise his voice where Rex's VA had problems. He did amazing during more serious scenes. Like when he met Pyra, the Graveyard scene with Pyra, and when he has that vision of having dinner with Pyra and Mythra. All those moments were great VA. It was only at screaming parts where he truly struggled.

If I was Sam I’d just run up snatch the ring from Frodo’s hand and throw it myself
