I wonder if they've watched enough fonthr anime to realize the ED is actually an in cannon event that happens during the show?

Tieria Erde (purple hair pilot) is a femboy. They even joke about it when he infiltrates a party of rich elites by just wearing a long hair wig and a dress and fake boobs, and everybody there thinks he’s a woman except the main villain who knows who he really is. That itself was a reference to a similar scene in Turn A Gundam. Although his feminine nature is contrasted by how his Gundam is a big chunky beast with giant laser bazookas.

The green Gundam is called the GN-002 Dynames and its specialty is sniping. It gets more powerful upgrades as the series and movie go on.

While the last ending may seem sad, its actually supposed to be really happy. The entire series is about ending war. Thats what the gundam pilots are fighting for. To stop all wars permanently. To do so they were forced to create their own almost military with the uniforms and the gundams, weapons of mass destruction. But they won. They got to move on with their lives. War was eraticated, so there was no need for the gundams. The pilots got to bury their weapons and the parts of themselves that fought in the war (the floating jackets and uniforms). A world where the gundams are discarded and forgotten is a world that finally knows peace. Notice for the main character (setsuna) though, he got to burry the 00 gundam, but his uniform wasn't there. Instead Child Setsuna, the traumatized child soldier guerrilla fighter that was born from war was burried instaed. Setsuna the peace keeper is still fighting to protect the world from war, and will do so to his last breath, so that the horrors of war will never harm anyone ever again.

I finished the anime today And i just can't stop watching the opening and seeing the reaction of other people I have seen a lot of anime opening too much to be clear, but this one is so special the vocals and the music just make you live in the moment and kinda make you experience the feelings of the characters

there's another endless waltz song you should check out called las impression you should check out too

for ending 1, there's a buildup at the end of each episode that plays during it's final scene before the actual sequence plays. so you didn't get the full experience of hearing annani issya dattanoni. one of the standout moments are from one episode where he gets called a traitor(i think by his old best friend, my memory is hazy) for fighting against his own race for the sake of his new friends. the english title "we once were so close but now nothing remains" hits so much deeper

Gundam is primarily about war and the consequences of war, which is kinda dark. Also it's pronounced Double O if you wanted to know.

Both OP and ED does take animating the Tomato seriously.
