What amazing parents. This child is blessed.
So cute! Glueing it all down was THE best idea ever! I wish I had thought of that when my daughter was little!
This is so adorable and inspiring! I want to offer you an idea, and I hope it doesn’t feel like a criticism. I’m a mom, (and grandma!) whose firstborn daughter has already married and begun her own family, and I still have six more at home. When you shared how your little one had already drawn on the walls, my heart was so touched. If I had a dollar for every thing I’ve invested time, money and creativity into, and has been scribbled all over… sigh! Still, I couldn’t help thinking how cute it might be to take that little scribble on the dollhouse wall, and make a popsicle stick or dollar tree frame around it, as a piece of modern art.
Hola hermoso saludos desde Argentina de parte de mí Agustín con sd es lo más lindo que me pasó en la vida
the BEST Book IN THE WORLD 🕊️🙏
I wanna try this! Nice video.
I see it's been a year since you updated on Thomas' progress. I sincerely pray that he recovered well. I too have a baby girl with t21 in hospital since birth for the last 4 weeks with AVSD as well but she had a PDA as well and just had that fixed and her work of breathing has improved a lot, but she'll still need open heart surgery one day soon, so I know exactly what you're going through. It's the hardest thing ever. So wishing you and Thomas healing and health and strength. Hope he is thriving.❤
Thomas is thriving! I created a last video and have yet to upload- you know how it is in this life- never a dull moment! ♥️ I’m sorry you’ve been in the hospital- I hope your little one is on the mend soon! It gets much better and easier! Lots of love
Ficou perfeito maravilhoso 👏😍
Congratulations❤❤❤❤!!!
What a beautiful story ❤️
You. did such a great job...loved it!!
This looks really easy, and the materials are accessible. I have a few paperback books that I want to convert to hardback because paperback books aren’t as durable. I can also see using this trick with paperback notebooks to make upscale journals.
you are an extremly likable person ,
have you gotten the master software as a shopper? It’s very important if you are having terrible batches
Hi there, I am wondering how Thomas is doing? Thank you for posting this emotional video. My little girl also has down syndrome and has to have open heart surgery soon for av common valve (avsd). So your video gives me a glimpse ahead, inspiration and hope. I really hope little Thomas is doing better. Thank you again for sharing your journey.
Thomas is doing great! Thank you for asking ♥️ I have finished the final video and just need to upload. I should do an update video as well. He turns 2 this April 😊 best of luck on the upcoming surgery! She will do great
So well explained! Thank you!

This absolutely made my day. What a light you are. Thank you so much ♥️
Love the way you did them love it, very nice work, and I also loved the humor... As for the thick book, gave me ideas on a book a edited, and thank you so much for this video and the humor,... thank you..!!! *Yes, the card to spread the glue, buy the way I have the same glue... perfect.. way to even the glue, never thought of that again thank you... oh... you mentioned the chipboard yes costs a lot.. but I found a way.. get all kinds of binders... take the covering plastic off and there is the chipboard... even at flea markets of others.. so !!!
From where do you get the hard brown board? Thank you
CONGRATULATIONS 🎊🎉🍾
You did an amazing job!!!

Thank you for your video in was inspirational! We collect books in our home & have many bookshelves filled along with stacks on our floors. We have several Bibles that are a bit worn out so if I get ambitious enough, I'll give them new covers like you did! God bless you!
You did a wonderful job. Thank you for sharing!
Elmer's glue is pva glue
Thanks for this video. I've rewatched it a bunch of times and have attempted to turn a paperback Bible into a hardcover. I now have my Bible sitting under a stack of a bunch of heavy Bibles. We'll see how it turns out! Now for some patience... lol
Your tutorial helped me sooooo much!!! THANNNNNKKKKK YOUUUUUUU!!!😀😀😀
All of your videos bring tears to my eyes!God bless you!
You are such a lovely family!praying for your cute angel!
You are so strong and amazing! wishing you all the best, praying for your cuteness of a baby!
Beautiful!! You and your husband did a wonderful job! I just ordered the Ikea dollhouse and I want to put it above my daughter's headboard but I was planning on cutting the wood in half (depth) to be able to fit. I could even make two dollhouses out of it. Do you think that type of wood would be easy to cut without chipping? Also, to paint it, I would have to sand it down first? Thanks!
My husband made this one based off a picture of the ikea one so I’m not exactly sure what the wood is like on the actual ikea one! Ours is pretty basic wood so it would be fine- hopefully it’s something similar! Your idea sounds adorable!! ♥️
@@thecandiedlemon7370 Thanks for replying! I think the site said it was made out of solid pine. I don't know anything about wood.. lol. I guess I will give it a try. Thanks again and love your video! 🙂😊
@@AmyLeeAngelLove pine is a soft wood so it's one of the easier ones to cut, hardwoods are trees that grow slower, like Oak, Walnut, Cherry and so in. Hardwood is more dense, heavier and harder to cut, and more expensive. But the woodgrain on pine is very obvious so you need to paint it or wallpaper to cover it. An in between type of wood would be something like mahogany, that's what I used when I took woodshop in high school, back when they still had real classes. It was more expensive than pine, which was the cheapest, but not as bad as oak. The hobby stores use Bass wood for the minis because it's a light wood, easy to cut, but the grain works for minis, no giant knotholes. The thickness of plywood for a dollhouse can be anywhere from 1/8 inch thick for kits from Greenleaf to I think 3/4 inch from Real Good Toys. Sometimes they use MDF board. Check out a Lumber yard to compare prices on different kinds of wood for the same size piece, thinner woods will tend to warp when they get wet, like when you paint them or put glue on. Plus if you want to put a nail or screw into the edge of a wall, thicker wood would be easier to deal with.
@@AmyLeeAngelLove if you make it too shallow furniture won't fit in there, if it's four inches deep that's like having a room only four feet deep. I guess you could fit a chair and a bookshelf but not much else it would be like a hallway not a room
@@recoveringsoul755 You're so helpful! Thank you so much! After reading your comment and knowing how small the depth of the dollhouse would be after cutting it, I decided to leave it as is... maybe just finish the wood with varnish. I just purchased a shadow box dollhouse which will fit above the bed instead. I guess one for decoration and one for play.
Feeling your joy💗
I needed this . My soft covered bible is curling up! Where can I buy chip board?
Maybe on Amazon? Or there’s usually a bookbinding section of the craft store 😊
Searching for ideas on this technique and having tried a few, I came across your video and really like it. Primarily because you don't use paste down sheets on the cover who which drive me crazy. I am anxious to try this. Thanks.
I. Wana. Copy
The floors turned out great. If you can shrink down a family portrait or photo of your daughter you can frame those and put them on the walls too. I think my daughter was 3 1/2 when she got her dollhouse. She was good about not losing the pieces.
So cute. It's kind of dark with no windows. You could make fake windows with silver scrapbook paper and card stock frames to make it look like a window
Nice, clear tutorial- thanks!
Lovely video thanks for sharing your life with me
Such a precious video! Thank you for sharing your journey with us ❤️
Great work!!! Thank you!!!!!
I learned so much and I can’t wait to try this. Thanks for the video :)
Is hot glue a good idea?
Where do you get the bibles with the ability to put notes on the side?
Thank you.
Thank you so much for the video! (Exactly the instructions I needed!). GREAT JOB😃
I'm a severe "type A personality," and I CRINGED to see you painting without taping areas off first!😱 It's so cute! Congrats and I hope you get to make more!👏😄
The plausible rectangle arthroscopically fax because anatomy adventitiously pine notwithstanding a lackadaisical syria. statuesque, gamy sale
This is amazing! I buy most of my books used, and sometimes the paperbacks are pretty worn out, or the cover art isn't too pretty, so now I know what to do with them! I'll have to see where I can get this kind of board in my country, and test some types of glue I can get here, but I will definitely try this out! Thank you, you explained it really well and made it look possible for beginners!
