“This energetic tune is from the game ‘Kirby Super Star’, which was released in 1996 on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was also remade for the Nintendo DS in 2008, and that was my introduction to the Kirby series when I was 7 years old💫
Since it’s first appearance, this tune has become one of the staple themes of the Kirby franchise, and arguably one of the most popular songs in gaming.

Playing this was a real challenge... it took probably a combined 10 hours or so of many terrible/failed takes, and I had to record it at the worst point in the semester - just before music juries and finals week. Pretty sure I went to bed at 3:00am every day that week but somehow I still managed to finish this. It was actually a final for my recording class that I finished on April 30th, but I just barely mustered up the energy to get around to editing the video together and also readjusting the mix😅Enjoy!”
