Since 2014, JetBlue pilots-as a union organized under the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA)-have been stakeholders and contributors in the continued success of JetBlue Airways; tasked with not only ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers, but also with providing the award-winning customer service for which JetBlue is known.
Approximately 5,000 pilots operate a mixed fleet of Airbus 320/321 and Embraer 190 aircraft for JetBlue Airways.

It's interesting to see the comments here. Maybe everyone here should consider the possibility of these airlines letting top quality pilots with 12,000 plus flight hours walk out the door and hire inexperienced pilots in the seat along with a F/O with the same experience and possibly a flight engineer with the same. Then throw in all the possibilities that exist in flight and hope that they somehow figure it out. But hey, we're only talking about human life here.....what's 200...260 plus lives right. This guy talks about market price. Well it's priceline that started this whole damn thing and companies like it. These airlines are a business, they have to stay viable. Now because people want cheap cheap cheap......this is what happens!!!! They can't afford to pay for the skill. Some of these pilots are ex military and they totally rock!!! I'll gladly... GLADLY pay the airline $500 for a round trip ticket as opposed to $234 if I know one of these guys have my life or my family's....OR ANYONES LIFE in their hands. People should watch the TH-cam videos of the all the plane crashes throughout the past 60 years. It's flight simulation videos that depict in detail. Then there's the charter regional flights..... LMAO. You won't believe what they pay those guys. Always check your ticket itinary and make sure who and what company is flying that plane. After watching these videos for the past month, I appreciate airline pilots and what they are dealing with
